Played this game with friends. Seemed decent. Got bored. Was forced to play over 2 hours so I could not refund. Angry at friends. Called them sus. No more friends.

It has a steep learning curve, but once you've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ used to it, it becomes very addictive. It's medieval combat is more realistic and accurate then any other game I've ever played. The story is there, but somewhat hidden, you have to search for scrolls and notes then piece together what has happened.

The controls are not clunky, nor is the game linear. There are gamemodes other than deathmatch as well.
You can yell 'b!tch took mah gold!' if you're a hillbilly, and random stuff in Mexican if you're a Mexican.

I got HDTF for about $2 on sale, I thought to myself, why not get this for that cheap?

I think I was one of the few people to get a good experience with this game. Few crashes, I played the tutorial (which helped greatly with the parkour system) and was prepared for the worst.
I know a fair bit about Half-Life's lore and I think that's why it wasn't so bad for me. The events lined up pretty well with HL1 and HL2.
The guns are well done in my opinion, with ADS, leaning and proper scopes.
I played through the maps with a bit of noclip and frequent F6 (quicksave) to scout ahead when I got lost. After a bit of the constant waves of enemies at certain bits, I got used to it and found out I had to move on rather than fight when the enemies didn't stop.

I'm not sure I'd pay the full price for HDTF, but if it's on sale it's worth a look at.

Don't get me wrong, Halo is great, but for PC if you're on Windows 7 like me, it probably won't work. I've scoured the internet for every possible way to get it to work, but it just won't. I keep getting a fatal error and the game crashes upon starting any match.

It's pretty good. That's a real understatement. Would be even better if there were a sequel. No, I don't mean EP:1 or EP:2, I mean the fabled HλLF-LIFE³!

A short and high quality mod. At least, I think it's a mod. Still, it's quite good.
