A masterpiece, simple as.
Soul-crushingly difficult but in the best way possible. The visual design in this game is unmatched, with the locations, enemy designs, soundtrack, dialogue, everything is amazing.
The bossfights are phenomenal. That moment when you run out of healing but the boss is nearly dead and the fight becomes a deadly dance, with your heart racing and every muscle in your body clenched - some of the most unforgettable gaming moments of all time.
I adore this game, I think its one of the best fantasy action games ever made and a cruel but very learnable and fair experience.

Quite honestly the best open world game I have ever played.
Not since the Witcher 3 have I been so immersed in a world, and pretty much every element works amazingly. The graphics, locations, visual design of the bosses, enemies, NPCs, locations etc is just phenomenal, honestly FS best work.
The story is cryptic as always but has that visual storytelling which FS excels at.
The gameplay is absolutely amazing and very addicting. It keeps all the expected challenge from previous games but offers a lot of versatility in how to overcome the challenges, making it the most accessible game in FromSofts library.
Finally, there is so much here, its so close to being overwhelming, but never feels overbearing. I am near the endgame and I still feel like I have barely touched the surface of this massive massive game.

For fans of open world games, fantasy games, action games, RPGs, fans of Visual Storytelling and of course the downright masochistic. This may be a From Software game, but it is honestly a game I can recommend to everyone. Its one of the best games I've ever played and an absolute masterpiece. I'm gonna go right back to playing it after this review lmao

This game is amazing. I love the world you get to explore, and interact with. It feels so lived in. I think its a big improvement over the first game, especially when it comes to combat and how unforgiving it can be, but also just in the locations, the interactions and especially the story.
If I were to make one criticism its that the morality system needed to get the good (canon) ending is a little tedious in places however it is well worth it.
This game is a work of art honestly, and I think everyone should play it.

I think the atmosphere is amazing in this game. While it is a little short, almost every sequence felt great and unique, and offered a small but satisfying and enriching glimpse into this post apocalyptic world. The combat I found was pretty hit or miss, with my favourite and most effective sequence being one not involving weapons (the Library). That being said the guns all felt great and satisfying to use - not overly powerful but you certainly didn't feel defenceless.
The story I think was pretty weak, and I wasn't a fan of how some things weren't explained. However I did like the many different interactions and dialogues with characters, all offering insight into what life would be like in such a scenario. I do wish Artyom could speak - maybe the later games clear this up.

Capcop... Ya did it again. On a roll. Not only is this game absolutely beautiful but the gameplay is just perfect. The bigger focus on action may annoy some but the combat was so satisfying that honestly it's hard to complain - and the game offers many super pulse raising and tense scenarios with an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. The village may be one of the best RE maps quite honestly, and the different locations all offer a unique experience, from creepy gothic to industrial steampunk. The story is... Well it's Resident Evil so it's not going to win any awards but it's certainly not bad.
Amazing game, should be played by all
