Life long motocross rider. Quit racing hard core at 21 after i broke my back when i had to bail right after takeoff of a 120 foot triple. Flew 114 feet and my butt landed first on the face of the 3rd jump / down side landing jump. Shattered 4 vertebrae in my lower back into hundreds of little pieces. Paralyzed from chest down for 11 days, had 70% spinal cord blockage. Had a very major 22 hour surgery and the doctor fixed me up !!
Doctor said I was 1 in 10 million lucky, for not being paralyzed from an injury like this........but I do 98% of everything I used to do before the accident.
2 months after surgery, in a turtle shell back brace I was ridin my 50cc CRF on my buddy's little backyard 50 track !!!
Live life the way you want, do what makes you happy, and always remember - the glass is always half full and whatever happens in life, it can always get worse !!!!!!!
