At this state I cannot recommend the game, like many other positive reviews I think the best things about this game are the idea of it, and the environment, but the core game play right now feels just terrible, your only enemy which is the AI is terrible at best. Only buy this game if you want to support the devs and help shape its future, if that is not something that interest you, it is best to wait for full release. Will be checking in with this game constantly and will change my review when it is in better shape.

really fun but my eyes cant handle how the graphics look, if you can get passed that it will be a very fun game.

all the positive reviews for this are probably fake, the guns feel terrible, the AI is bad and there is no reason to play this game after maybe 1.5 hrs

Cant play game due to regional laws, US

I saw that BF2042 had a free weekend and decided to check it out, see if all the negative reviews were true or just fanboys/girls being mad. I finished my download at 3:00 pm started the game skipped the tutorial as I wanted to check out Hazard Zone (also side note it forces you to watch a video and listen to the brief for the tutorial that no one wants to sit through) I couldnt find a game sat in queue for about 10-15 mins nothing, left tried to play the base game mode sat in queue for 10 15 mins still nothing, left tried to queue up for a 64 player still nothing it is now 4:00 and i have not touched a weapon ill edit if ever get the chance to play

EDIT: I did not notice i did not have crossplay enabled but the only thing this tells me is there isnt enough people playing on steam i am currently on my second game and well vehicles spawns and player spawns are kinda dumb you die.01 secs into the game because theres already a vehicle coming to blow your back out not even tactically just full run into the same spot and if you play this game and read this why does no one revive when everyone has the ability to do so.

EDIT2023: Decided to try it again since its free and with a discount. Downloaded 80 gb just to sit through the gruesome process of origin updating into something else that is just as bad and then telling me I didn't own the game, looked for a solution for about 5 mins then decided it really wasn't worth the trouble. If this game is ever worth playing ill pick it up when they sell it for 5 bucks.

Most of the hours i have logged in this game were me trying to log in or trying to get through a mission with out getting kicked out, instead of fixing any bugs they started buffing and nerfing classes like that was the issue I could not refund the game so I am just going to remove it from my library, this game is definitely not worth the time, release date says april 1st (like the joke it is) but it was not ready for 10 months after release. PCF is a joke.
