For what was a great game in 2020 before the pandemic, i am sad to see what the game has turned into. This was great when gpt2 was in use as i could easily get a story to over 1000 actions without much editing or using the retry button. Now that is not the case with the new free model called Griffin. I quite often find myself using the retry button as it completely forgets what has happened in the story and is repetitive. This is the model you are stuck with in the steam edition.

let's look at the false advertising where in the description where is says there are no advertisements in this game . There are now advertisements in this game. I know that running the AI can be expensive but this is a scummy move.

Next is The UI. I don't mind the UI when it works. However i often need to close the game as this shares the same problem as the web browser version where you can get stuck in one section, meaning you need to close the game to get it to work again.

Edit (date 22/08/2022) : The advertisements have been removed from the game so please ignore that section

Edit 2/ reply to devs (29/08/2022): Thanks for the reply but the reply seems like a generic copy and paste response as i never talked about the data breaches you have suffered such as the S3 bucket data breach or what caused the landing page to change on the web version of AI dungeon to change.

Now i'll ask a question why did you lock steam community threads which asked questions?
Also why was someone banned for asking why didn't why get the dragon model instead of free tier Griffin model?
