This was my first game to see if I liked bike racing. I was a huge fan of the dirt rally games and this seemed like something that would also interest me. Just like dirt rally it was a bit frustrating at first learning how to control the bike smoothly but after a couple of hours I was having a lot of fun racing around and trying to win.

The career mode doesn’t make much sense to me. I can place 1st but end up 5th after the other riders finished and I’m not sure what or why this happens. Maybe someone knows and can post in the comments. Not sure if you get a penalty for crashing or not. It doesn’t say when you do crash. I’ve also finished races without crashing and still lose. Maybe I just suck? Let’s go with that.

First person riding is really intense and the preferred way to play. It was makes you feel fast and looks somewhat realistic.
You can buy and upgrade bikes and also tune them to desired riding styles.

Despite still figuring out how career works the game is quite fun regardless. I wish multiplayer was still alive but sadly it is very dead.

Plays great on steam deck but does randomly crash at times but it’s not often. More than likely a compatibility issue within proton.

EDIT………

I figured out what was happening. It’s was time trial courses and normally on these type of tracks they put you solo on it but in this game it does not, so I was getting confused how I was losing when in the lead.

Now that I know this I was able to adjust to it and get better times.

8/10
