If you like psychological stuff, you'll like this, just be careful because some things may hit a bit close to home.

If you don't like this, you'll probably be able to return it anyway, did 4 playthroughs with all variations of getting the game over or the ending, still have less than an hour played.

The game is a good demo in my opinion, doesn't take too long to beat (took me 4 hours because I wanted to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ which requires you to pretty much beat each level with no damage taken, spent around a half/quarter of my time doing so), and I'm really excited to see how far this project can go.
It has a throwback 8-bit graphics/chiptune ost style, and combined with mechanics of shoot'em up, sidescroller, and a platformer, it's a really fun time, slightly agitating if you're trying to go for the three "stars", but very pleasant and fair if you're just trying to beat it.
The weapons and skill cycling isn't necessary, but if you're someone who enjoys switching through weapons during combat, it is a quick and easy option.
The animations are done nicely, and the enemies telegraph their attacks in specific manners which are easy to catch, but might be a slight challenge in large amounts of enemies at the first attempts, though that's just the trial and error part which I didn't mind.
You also have characters, and although as of now they are very surface-level and quite forgettable in my opinion, that's okay, because the full game might flesh them out a bit more and even if it doesn't, stylistically and mechanically this game is really good.

Godspeed Agelvik, hope you continue this project, because the basis is very enjoyable.
