The game didn't deserve the hate, the publisher made a mistake, but the developers were caught in the crossfire. Perfectly well constructed and cared for cooperative multiplayer game, one of the few live services that updates for free absent of loot boxes. Fun guns, great community, and world building of epic proportions. its a good game.

There will never be another game like Disco Elysium, nor will there be a sequel. It completely asks you as the player to take a look at your own actions through different narratives and lenses of religion, politics, and morality. Not only is it funny and lighthearted but contemplative and fulfilling. it, at least to me, encapsulates us, it seems that despite life going down the drain. We continue to go and on for what end.

Despite this, it a delightful narrative cheesecake, with a memorable cast, player choice and freedom, and top shelf writing, Although, one may say it is a "walking simulator or a book simulator" this is a terrific game.

I hate Timmy. A ikea teddy bear would have a much more emotional drive for me to protect them rather than my crippled, emotionally de·tached, blank canvas of a son. I would rather jump into a deep frier rather than progress the story to look at my pale faced snake lizard man of a human being that i somehow had the mistake of siring.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

its a hit or miss, in its current state you are better off just finding friends randomly in other games tbh. You can better spend your time than staring at yourself in a mirror.

But many quality of life changes were ripped away.
I would wait until things get substantially better.

Yes you can be mad at the EAC but in personal opinion i dont think i would be able to keep myself together the way I am without the wonderful friends i have made on here.

Top 3 qualities:
Graphics, Combat, and uniqueness

the graphics are outstanding compared to other pixel games and are very fluid, and easy on the eye.
although combat at first is a bit slow, as soon as you craft your first weapon it easily ramps up and becomes way more fun obliterating enemies you once found a pain the the donkey. and although it seems pricey to craft said items in hindsight you will obtain gold much quicker than imagined, and its also addicting in the aspect of "ill just do one more dungeon run" and you end up doing five.
its unique in the aspect that you play as a merchant, playing with the prices of items, seeing NPCs get livid or extremely happy because of the price of one item is fun and rewarding to a degree. the sense of progress from selling low items to more and more expensive ones is highly gratifying.
overall, i can understand the repetiveness after one or two playthroughs, but for the short term? its fun and slightly addicting. i reccomend it to people who enjoyed binding of issac, terraria, and hades. and if youre skeptical, grab it while it goes on sale.
