This game has so many bugs and mistakes on it I don't even know where to start.
I will split up the problems into different categories:
General Game:
- Players animations are wierd and sometimes it looks like people are floating
- often times wide open shots are titled as contested
- sometimes the centers will miss open lay up which literally kills the idea and concept of the game
- The so called "momentum" is way too strong in the game. It's either one team or the other to get into an offensive flow.
This results in blow-out wins and therefore close and exciting games are very rare.
- you can't skip cut scenes (and those cut scenes are long and annoying)
Single Player:
- Pay to win and extremely slow progress
Online:
- lots of hackers (but thats normal for PC games, I guess)
- often, when I am about to win an online game, the game loses connection (It's not because of bad internet!)
and the win won't count


Positive things about 2k18:
Good Graphics, very much detail in every aspects, realistic play-calling and tactics.


To me it seems that the developers put so much effort in unnessecery dertails (e.g. original buzzer length in every arena, etc.), that they failed to focus on the important aspects of the game and main concepts of basic Basketball!
