I wasn't sure what this game was about at first. But I decided to go for it. I am not young but feel I have learned alot in my life. Then I see that this is a place for people to post concerns, questions & give advice to strangers & ask your own questions or comments to get advice or recommendations. Plus send good, positive "paper airplane notes' of encouragement.

Its been good to help others with issues I have faced & now dealt with/healed from...you can be kindly honest with others & help them get back some answers & solutions to their problems that otherwise might plague them for much longer.

I also found solace in hearing from others & seeking advice myself when life gets difficult. Also fun to hear about other's positive things & what they enjoy.

Its truly a way to unite the world in a positive way without all the encumbrance of social media & preconceived notions of the advice given based on who the person is telling you. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEM!!! ITS ALL ANONYMOUS. you get the first letter of your first name as a moniker and that is it!

I can spend hours reading others letters & responding, then coming up with ones to write myself. Most of the time I am asking fun questions I want others to share...other times I ask for advice about what I a dealing with. Just to get another perspective.

I love reading all the paper airplane notes that come by & listen to the lo-fi RnB music. Its calming & I don't think I will ever get bored connecting with real people all over the world.

Oh, did I mention you can share and collect stickers!! If people send you stickers you don't have, it unlocks that sticker for you until you fill up a sheet. Each sheet of stickers is a different "room" for your avatar to sit in. Each sticker is also an item in the room on that sheet. Its so fun!

The deer finds new music for you to listen to all the time. And the "message deer" sends the message to others or gives you messages to your avatar via your window....so cute to see that little deer face show up at the window, knowing it has someone's response to read.

I don't go to this everyday. SO its fun to come back and see all the accumulated letters sent to me by other "players" in the "game".

Its really not a game though...its more of an avenue for truth & healing for people emotionally, at least if you ask me!

I am on my second play through and plan on choosing Derek to see what happens. My first run through we only could choose Cove but I still LOVED the game. It is a fun "choose your adventure" with choices that affect how Cove acts around you and where the story goes/what choices are available to you in the future. The quicker you go to romance (which the first time I started out already crushing on Cove), you have ALOT of choices romantically in teen and adult phase.

I am starting second go round as friends with Cove in both kid and teen so I can like Derek later and see what happens!

Even if they dont (but especially if they do) as a romantic choice, I will play through again just to see what other options I can get!!

The story is simple and enjoyable with lots of choices to really make your character different every time and also to choose new character traits each time.

I would recommend if you like visual novel games to go through this one and buy it.

Its truly enjoyable time you won't regret and you can make it a friend story or a romantic story or something in-between (even a break up if you want).

The characters don't say alot and there is alot of reading. IF you don't like reading, I would shy away from this because the characters don't narrate much. If you do love reading, the little character responses and quips along the way are a nice enhancement to your reading the story.

I hope they continue to update with other choices in the near future to keep interest in this Visual Novel Game.

I got this as a game that can easily be stopped during activities around my home. As a homeschool mom of 4 kids, I need to be able to get up at a moments notice....this removes many fun shooter games, RPG games and online games with others....as you cannot always just get up and let it sit. I also wanted something I can get up while making dinners and where I can turn and look at what is going on and know I am not dying or losing something.

This game is that game. I can clean things and enjoy "using water" without wasting water. I can power spray without doing it in real life and be dry. It tickles a part of me that makes it very easy to come back to over and over.

The updates and new things to clean and the underlying plot of the town is so fun to follow if you read all your texts and communications with each job.

Only wish there were more smaller jobs added to do now that the game is officially live ( I have already done them all and wish there were more to do).

If you need something to relax with after a long day or something that is calming that you can stop whenever you feel and keep doing what you have to or want to in real life, try this game out.

Get Muckingham clean and watch out for that volcano!!!

I wasn't sure about this game at first. I bought it based on reviews and, actually, was glad I did. I don't agree with all the political stuff and how it lines up in the narrative...but it is mild and the plot makes up for it.
Plus, it isn't super in your face or extremely biased as I have seen some political games can get.

This is an RPG, story game with sooooo many choices...each impacts your story and the over-arching narrative in the game.

Once you get all the items, you can start a new game with them and it is even more fun to explore new teens journeys and new choices.

I have played through once and had a hard time stopping most of the time I would sit down and play it. I wanted to see how this whole story ended. I took me only 12 hours to finish over a few days.

I just restarted with a new game to see how I can make it different.

Give it a try if you like slice of life, choose your adventure style rpg games!

So far I have played 10 hours of this game and I am loving it. It's calm, its relaxing and a little thought needs to go into planning your days and getting things done. But it is very enjoyable. I do wish I could control more of the conversations with the villagers and some of the "goal" hints are very vague. But overall this is a great game with fantastical graphics and world design. I feel its unique and not cookie cutter fantasy. They really worked hard to make this their own game and I can't wait to continue and finish the fame and play their new one: Yonder!

I was hoping for a more even-toned game regarding the year 2020. It seemed very one-sided MSM with no understanding of any other world or national perspectives.

It was interesting it seemed to be placed in CA instead of middle America or even travel to different places.

Pros:
--gave you the desired frustrating feeling whenever you shopped (reason to go during non-peak times during real lock down)
--Used real events that happened and choices
--was not overblown at the risk factor for someone who chose to not be a front-line worker

Meh:
--Only having video games as a choice and no virtual learning or anything beyond that. also showering after everything we did was a bit much.
--the ONLY video game choice was an awful dancing one....guess how many times I did that: TWICE...just to check if that was only option And, sadly, it was...
--skate boarding as the only activity with no alteration on crowd or animal activity so you basically just memorize the course....boring after several tries.
--no ability to post or jokingly journal or read his journal
--No descent into madness or boredom for our character where he "HAS" to get somewhere and go outside.

CONS:
--very politically and socially one-sided. almost overly played to one side of this...which isn't the span of our country.
--based off of MSM narrative and not on my or other's ACTUAL experiences in real life
--Not enough weather decisions...those brought action and excitement. we needed more of those.
--You have to pay for good/fun avatars
--you can't choose your age group....it seems to be geared towards teens surviving COVID.
--Really easy to take advantage and not have any challenges with COVID immunity that didn't happen until 2021
--No consequences for getting near COVID people in public....like not even a sniffle. Besides... I thought we didn't allow peeps coughing and sneezing to go into public in 2020? None of this game seemed based in fact.
--Mom and Pop shop was not accurately forced to close or have weird hours where they eventually went out of business like half of the small businesses in my town or the neighboring cities on either side of us.
--Not a single choice to get COVID vax even though IT WAS AVAILABLE in FALL 2020!!!! And the jabs out there available are still not approved by FDA, only ones that aren't available to public are...so yeah...some false info. But i could have let that slide if you made the reality of the vax being available also true in the game....

Overall, I feel it meant well but the worldview wasn't based in actual cultural and societal reality that was going on, except in very isolated parts of the country and I dont live in a particularly one politically sided state....Also the joke that Summer 2021 this would all be over (HAHAHAHA) it's now 2022....that's hilarious.

If you enjoy wanting to scream at inanimate dumb shoppers and people outside on your game constantly bumping into you (I hated that pre-covid and glad that isn't a thing IRL pre and post pandemic) and watching the world burn and read one-sided news article that hurt your mood...go for it. Have fun...

If not, I would skip this game or just play it once for the experience....that is all its worth: to say you played it once.

At least it won't cost you anything as of January 2022.

It's Spyro from our childhood now back and better than it was ....they totally updated the graphics and gameplay and added some fun new features.

I let my kids try it out first as a Christmas gift...I can't wait to try it for myself!!!

I got it during the Winter Sale and so glad I did....

My kids play this game and LOVE it...they spend hours gardening and playing on rainy days...My 2nd oldest son LOVES bunnies and this is his outlet to just relax and chill when he is overwhelmed with life.

My MIL even played this with them when she was visiting and loved it.

You get to pick out what breed of bunny you are and garden and build your horticulture and seed business... AND FISH!!!

I don't even need to play and enjoy watching my kiddos play.

Our little girl, almost 5, plays with her brothers too and loves to help water and plant seeds.

This game just came out Fall 2021 and I am glad it is here!

Relaxing and fun to see your kids get along with something rather than fight...

I bought this and Game of LIfe 2..... LOVED< LOVED> LOVED this version. Enjoyed it so much I played it for 3 hours and even got friends involved.

It is the game I played as a preteen and teen...I got it on a CD disk from a cereal box waaaaay back in the late 1990s....Its a little updated but very little changed from the original one I had and have missed.

I can't wait to share and play with my kids something I used to play as a kid...

This game I recommend for anyone who grew up playing the Game of LIFE either PC or board game....it will be fun and you will enjoy the choices given to you.

I would not recommend the Game of Life 2...it pales in comparison to this one (see review on that game to get full description of my issues with it).

I will keep this and enjoy.

I hated this game....I LOVED THE ORIGINAL....They changed too much. If you wanted to pick a career, it wasn't offered to choose the cards like in the original PC and the board game....Its very hard to grow a family and have more than one kid or buy a house....the selling option at the end is LAME...why would you not give me the option of multiple offers like real life...

The retirement choices are lame...one gives you money no matter what. I had plenty so I chose the "bucket list" one with the idea that the spinner would change and I would at least get something when I spun....NOPE....red gives you NOTHING and black gives you a choice but not between the three life choices of the heart, book or piggy bank...nope THEY CHOOSE FOR YOU>>>> JUST LIKE THE CAREERS!!!

I have no idea what game they thought they designed...but it wasn't the game of LIFE I WANT TO PLAY!!!

If I want outfits other than the dumb ones I have to "unlock"them or "buy" them...so they want more frustrating playtime and more money from me!!!!

No thanks...

I requested a refund from STEAM and I don't do that very often...In fact, I have only done it one other time in the history of my Steam account...

Good job Hasbro...you took your game and made me hate it so much I asked for my money back!
