Dragon Ball FIghterZ is an arcade style fighting game based off of the beloved anime Dragon Ball. This game honestly surprised me by how easy it was to pick up as someone who has never played a 2d fighting game in my life. This game is better animated than the dragon ball super anime and has something for everyone, whether you wanna kill people in one combo online or just mess around in the tournament of power earning Zeni there is always something to do. The auto combo system is a genius edition to the genre and really helps bridge that skill gap and allow new players to have some form of doing damage and not just throwing around 4 jabs or specials like you would find in a game like smash bros. The sound design for this game is very enjoyable with pleasant tunes that let your soul leave your body, the weakest part of this game is the lackluster story which is uninteresting and honestly just is a chore to unlock characters, android 21 is hot as hell though. The dramatic finishes are beautiful moments that allow us to experience the most iconic moments of the most iconic show in all of anime. If I could add one thing I would add a story more similar to the storm series where we can replay through the events of Dragon ball as our beloved characters. I give this have a 10/10 for the perfect dragon ball experience.
