Love this game !

Perfect coop game to play with my partner on nights we don't know what to do but wanna hang out together.
It's a farming game but it brings magic and fantasy elements to it that I adore and I think really makes it it's own thing.
The NPCs are waaaaay more endearing than in SV and there is so many fun characters to romance that I tried them all at the same time haha.
I love than you can get spells to help farming (to water the plants faster or to plow the ground) and you can jump and dash which is very addicting.

I like the idea of dealing with 3 farms in different parts of the world and the different forageable items and fish that each land had to offer made the game longer to enjoy. Also liked that some romancable characters appear later in the game, this way even if you have full hearts with some character you started courting in early game, you still have something to do romance wise later on. (Wesley my love)

You can get MOUNTS. Do I need to say more ???

Also, the soundtrack is BANGING, I especially love the monster land music, it's so funky honeslty can't get it out of my mind. (Also you can get pets to follow you around and that's pretty sick as well).


For the negatives:
- Not super fond of the artstyle, it looks a bit unpolished for my tastes
- Has some bugs sometimes (but nothing restating a day won't help)
- You are SO slow in the beginning it's very frustrating (but most of those games use that mechanic)
- It gets a bit repetitive because you basically redo the sameish thing 3 times to reach end game

Go buy this game !

Literally a perfect mix between Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon without the frustrating parts (needing to have the precise items in your pockets to craft something, having to refill your watering can, timed quests).

The graphics are so cute and polished, the music is simple enough it doesn't become boring but still brings some hype to each day. The variety of animals is INSANE, and the fact that you can breed them to get different colors is so fun and keep you engaged. Pretty decent number of accessories (might add more in the final version ?) and furniture (that you have to unlock with time).

I love to be able to jump and swim, and to catch bugs around town.
Also love that you can change your appearance whenever you want and you can even save outfits to change instantly into. I usually give up on planing outfits in SV because they is so many and it's so annoying to have to look into your closet to find the one specific shirt you want LOL.

But the real showstopper for me are the NPCs ! They are all engaging and lovely, making you want to interact with them whenever you see them outside. They also interact with each other which really sells the feeling of a small town where everyone knows each other. All the romanceable ones are also very cute and I can't wait to be able to get more than 4 hearts with them because each event was very fun and adapted to their personnalities.


The only "negative" bits I can find so far are that the map is too big, and as far as I'm concerned you can't ride horses yet so you don't have a way of making this less strenuous than it is, and the fact that with that many animals to take care of (If you want to breed them and have at least a few of each that would require a lot of barns/coops) + crops to water and then mines/ fishing or foraging, the days are so short and the stamina gets used very quickly. Maybe add a machine to feed the animals and pet them like in SV or Sun Haven and something to water the plants ? (There is a spell you can get to do that but you can't use it everyday so it forces you to not grow a lot of crops, but then making money is a bit of a struggle for me)

Fish

Very interesting game that acts like a visual novel but with some gaming dynamics that help digesting big bricks of text and keep the gameplay pleasant and not too repetitive. Stunning visually and they really nailed the characters, all of them becoming part of the town you'll browse through during the whole game.

My only "negative point" is that looking at the trailer I thought the game would have way more occult and supernatural elements, and even if it did have some, it really wasn't the focus. Still a very solid and original game for sure !
