Note: All of this is (obviously) my personal opinion and comes from my personal experience

Good:
Always a new way to play a map
Always a way to meme with friends
Consistent Updates
Constantly changing meta
Easy to pick up & learn

Bad:
Extremely toxic community
Extreme and persistent hit registration issues and lag
Year 4 (as of 10/30/19) is a complete let down and a waste of a season pass
Sounds are often misleading (like you'll hear a sound that you think is in front of you but is actually behind you)
Unbalanced meta

Potential deal make/breakers:
Outdated graphics
Horrible particle effects (this game runs on an older engine designed for singleplayer games called AnvilNext 2.0)
Interiors are destructible, this can result in lag for a short time, this also usually changes up gameplay depending on what is placed where
Unique gameplay
VOIP (voice chat) and standard chat are both accessible, but microphone is really the best way to communicate
Cosmetic and Currency Pack microtransactions only, some of the darker skins can help you blend into shadows easier, most don't

Conclusion:
If you want tactical, get Squad
If you want destruction get Battlefield 1/3/4
If you want tactical, fast paced action, Get Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019
If you cant afford these options and don't mind the older graphics, get this

I can't recommend this game as is it pretty broken (at least for me)
334 hours too many.

Russian bias and the grind is too much.

This game is so much fun! The game has a lot of weapons (not including secret weapons :P) It has (at this time) 533 custom maps, and 7 official maps. This game also has 1,094 custom weapons, and 476 custom vehicles, for a grand total of 2,444 mods. You can also command units to follow you, and tell the entire team (teams: Eagle: blue, Raven: red) to attack certain points. Overall, this game is worth the money (and is also updated somewhat frequently).

Also, before you ask for multiplayer, there is a separate game made by some modders that is multiplayer, but Ravenfield was coded to be singleplayer from the ground up.
