Christmas came early

One of if not the most enjoyable "gaming with friends" experiences I've had in a long, long, time. Each monster has their own set of rules and behaviors, which doesn't make any of them feel stale. The proximity voice chat feels fine tuned and near-flawlessly interacts with the environment and/or situation the person is in. Randomly generated rooms helps with replay-ability and feeds into the exploration aspect, would it be cool if there were extra structures or events that could randomly happen outside the facilities you explore? 100%, but the game is still in early access, and I'm sure the developer has plenty in store. Rome wasn't built in a day, yknow.

While putting Shang Tsung behind a paywall if you didn't pre-order is a little bit of an odd practice, the game is quite enjoyable. Though the amount of content can feel a little dry for a 70 dollar price tag, if you really enjoy mk style games I would encourage buying. If you're still on the fence, waiting for a sale never hurts.
