1 cup cream cheese (optional but helps it set up while cooling)
1 cup cheddar cheese (for base)
1 cup monterey jack (shredded)
enough cheddar cheese and panko to cover the top for a crust.
Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
-Boil or steam the broccoli to preferred tenderness.
-Add enough milk to assist in melting the cheese, to a sauce pan and simmer till steam forms.
-Add your shredded cheeses slowly to keep the sauce smooth. (this is also where you would add the cream cheese.)
-Add the sauce to the broccoli add your dry seasonings to taste.
-Add to a glass baking dish top with your cheddar and then panko and bake till panko is golden brown.
-Let rest for at least 5 minutes.
