This Sherlock Holmes game differs from the others, in quite a few ways. I am unsure whether the combat system added any value to the game. The games offers little to no help in solving and one offer ends up confused as to what must be done next. Some side quests require you to find places, with little information which might lead to hours of searching if you are not using a guide. There is the occasional visual bug, of cloths/bodies clipping into walls; running to the side looks awful. Cutscenes cannot be skipped even if you have already seen them before (which makes a second run exhausting).

That's the bad. The good is, the game was fun. The cases were difficult, some had twists you did not see coming and it took some efford to find all evidence to come to the right conclusion. However, oftentimes there is no 'right' conclusion. The game just leaves you hanging. I am still not sure whether I like that or not. Anyway, I enjoyed the game, and started a second run to finish the achievements.
