There are not many games that tick the cooperative itch like Deep Rock Galactic does. Randomly generated missions means technically endless gameplay content, it can definitely feel repetitive, but what game doesn't after you've spent over 500+ hours in it? Odds are if you dive into a random lobby you won't be immediately met with toxicity like many other games of similar genre. There's plenty of fun goofy easter eggs/ community RICHuals to keep you laughing while blasting bugs. This game is a certified good time in my book.
Well worth the $30 price tag, DLC is cosmetic ONLY, does not affect gameplay other than your dwarf's appearance.
