it's still a bit jank, (a very big bit at that c:) but after getting used to the jank, even in it's current state it's an absolute joy to play. just know that when your gyro axis gets wonky replugin your controller while it's on a flat surface c:

Fact: it takes quite a lot of time to actually be good enough for it to feel as cool as the clips you may have seen, but lemme tell ya it's 100% worth it. If you end up liking the game there's just SO much improvement and learning fun to be had here.

It has it's quirks, the graphics can be a bit offputting (even for an indie nerd such as me) and the performance is 4 times worse than it should be for a game that looks like this, but once you get over that I feel comfortable calling it a rough gem of a game. The gameplay is very innovative and fun (especially for a speedrunning oriented soul like myself), and while the rational part of my brain says the story and jokes are awful the story did get me attached and the jokes made me laugh so that's all that matters, right :p You just need to approach the game with absolutely no expectations and let the game fill those in for you, that'd be my advice.
just a warning tho: it's a pretty buggy game, for example I had to go through a lengthy part of the ending 3 times cause at low graphics it crashes because of a missing texture apparently (?), but it's not like the jank absolutely ruins the game, you just need a bit of jank tolerance.

The gameplay is amazing, the vibe is super strong and while at the start you may think the story is very simplistic and boring it really turns around in the end, just trust me on that one. There is one issue I feel the game has tho, that being pacing, so I encourage anyone to take breaks relatively often. Very much feel like this game should be way more popular than it currently is, I fully expect to see this become a word of mouth kind of game like death's door.

Honestly one of my favourite games of all time, very much underrated. I have almost 100h and that's just my first save. obv I have wasted a ton of time but still, the game is massive. it's also really tough, which I love. too many games nowdays are so ez you basically never die, certainly not this one. the combat system is very deep and fun to get good with. my only critique is with the class system, as lategame if you want to try a new build for a boss it can be kinda annoying to have to grind some members up with new classes just for some passives and such, but overall it's a pretty minor gripe. if you like exploration where you can really come up with your own routes (there are even some massive skips completely possible by just jumping well it's great) and complicated and difficult combat this is certainly a game for you!

it's an ok I guess game, which I'm very sad to say. like I'm happy that I played it, what was there was really cool, but there was potential for just so much more. like the main gimmick is super cool and the later alterations just make it better, but literally all the puzzles are trivially easy, especially with some puzzle chains using the technique of adding 1 more step each puzzle which would normally be great if the puzzles were actually hard and there was a twist or something, but since they're so easy it really feels like just doing the same thing over and over. The story is also pretty disappointing, it starts out pretty promising but at the end it's just "oh no your mission was a failure, welp game ends there" with the good old "have you heard about climate change? oh have you? yea do something about it!!!!!!" screaming in the background. So while the imaginary version of this game I was hoping for after playing the demo would have been a clear 5/5 this was a clear 2.5. just sad man. (the game is also pretty short, the reason I have so much time in the game is cause I did a lot of glitch + strat hunting after it released, that was a lot more fun that the actual game)

The game is insanely boring, you are either exploring (which is the only ok part) or solving puzzles, where it's almost always completely obvious what you need to do from the start but it just takes forever to do that because every action takes like 3 sec at least, worst being the endgame steam puzzles cause they have to zoom into what's affected every single time, sometimes that's even multiple targets, and each of those mini cutscenes takes like 5 sec. That's not even mentioning the narration, the same monotone voice narrates every piece of text in the game, no matter how small, which gets realllly annoying after a very short while.
