The game currently stutters every two or so seconds because it keeps looking for a gamepad connection. This is very noticeable and extremely distracting when trying to play.

Ryza 1 released with this issue and they have yet to fix it.

Some parts of this game are crafted with love and care, and I don't mean Ryza's thighs which are actually normal for people who hike a lot, but the visuals and characters are well cared for.

Some things aren't though.

I don't know how to write code, but I can read it to a degree. I don't know if they could plug up the hole by making the game recognize keyboard and mouse as a gamepad or make it so it stops checking for it by checking a box in the options menu or something.

If you have a gamepad, great. If you don't, I can't recommend the game as it is. Especially with the Devs not appearing to care about this and so it will unlikely ever be fixed.

So if you can get this with Christmas money or something, but can't shell out the cash for a gamepad, like me, don't get the game.
