The game could still do with some polish, experience disconnects here and there from not only myself but others. Also sometimes still experience a bug where you cannot respawn among other small bugs. Recommend waiting a bit more as things get ironed out and more content is introduced.

Cyberpunk 2077 at the time of this review has a strong foundation for what feels like an empty game. Visually and story wise the game is impeccable with some minor personal nitpicks and bugs. The first person aspect is really brought to the forefront as demonstrated by the main story where you are constantly engaged with in your personal bubble as people take your hand or plug devices into you or even just sitting in your vehicle. Outside of the main story the game is padded out with small tasks around the city such as moping up groups of gang members or doing side quests which range from more killing, chasing down rogue AI cars or helping people with all sorts of tasks. The side quests or gigs as the game calls them are pleasantly well developed being more than 'just go here kill this' with having twists of their own and really act as small stories both encapsulated and tying up of loose ends to the main story. Other small tasks such as killing a group of gang members gets repetitive especially with the lack of any faction or alliance system. The biggest gripe about this game which would be my nitpicks is that the game outside of the sidequests and main story feels very empty, no barbers exist, you cant interact with arcade machines, bars/restaurants are nothing but regular shop npcs offering no proper animations to really engage with the environment or people. While i would have been happy to give this game a positive review i think it needs a little more time development time to really bring the game to life and make it a true 'night city', so at this time i would not recommend purchasing the game until a few content patches and bug fixes or bought at a significant discount.
