I bought Stray on its initial release, and had got to a few hours of play time before taking a break. My cat who passed away later that same month, really hit me hard, I couldn't find the motivation to play anymore. Almost 2 years later, i was finally able to boot the game up and finish the journey. Everything about the game made it into my new comfort game. The graphics, the soundtrack, gameplay, exploration and puzzles, and all that were such a great experience. A work of art.

DADDY DAFOE! NO ONE SAYS NO TO ME!!

Starting out on playing the game for the first time, it immediately peaked my interest. The opening of the game was very suspenseful and learning how to play detective as Connor was super neat. The story has 3 main character arcs all being dramatic and dynamic in its own way. The flowchart maps out all my decisions, and the choices I make impact the story in several ways. The visuals and story-design were very well executed. At times it was like I was watching a movie, and sometimes it even felt like I was playing a horror game! Overall beautiful game, with great audio and background details. Replaying the game and trying to get all possible outcomes is the best part for me. My favorite character's are definitely Markus and North, along with their relationship. Their story was very compelling and their love for one another undoubtedly lead to the freedom of their people. Love conquers all.

a good comfort game

a game i can look back on and remember all the good times, and even the bad times. i made so many memories, and met so many people. i won't forget the connection i made with someone who was very dear to my heart.
