beautiful game with a magnificent soundtrack. i don't much care for puzzle or sport games but this particular piece of art had me absolutely entranced.

just look at the bloody hours..nay, DAYS that i've invested into this game. i obviously enjoy it. akin to the OG GTA games + OG Postal + Hatred delivered in a less-opprresive, stylized mayhem-fueled romp.

much more than i expected. the experience was akin to playing "how fish are made" or the "mouthwashing" demo. alot of promise here. i'd like to see more from this creator.

tired of sifting through the sarcastic and seemingly melodramatic reviews and wondering if there is something more to this game than meets the eye?
there doesn't seem to be. i am not complaining as the game trailer displays the entirety of the gameplay and the screenshots are in no way misleading. Furthermore, Banana seems to fulfill the goal it set out for itself ,within the description in flawless fashion. I am just make sure that one understands what they are getting...for free (if one discounts the concept of time spent).

gameplay overview:
one clicks on the graphic of the banana using either one's left, center, or right mouse buttons. as you click, the banana (or area directly surrounding it) the number displayed over the image of the banana increases according to the number of total clicks. I clicked 1000+ times and exited the game by closing the window as there is no menu or interface that i can find. Perhaps if i click 2500 or 500,000 times some kind of sexuality explicit jump-scare will take over the screen but i've seen no evidence of that. most of the other reviews seem to be either overtly sarcastic or melodramatic in a way that made it difficult to understand what their experience actually was. as such, i have provided mine. i hope that this helps those wondering what "the catch" of a this game about clicking a simple graphic representing banana could possibly be. the catch is that there is none. ha. ha.

conclusion:
I neither recommend nor discourage usage of this game. however, that is not an option that i can choose so i will chose that "yes, i recommend this game" because it accomplishes what it sets out to do and does not make any promises that it cannot keep. Any high expectations set by prospective users are entirely self-generated and should be ignored. this banana clicker is about clicking bananas.

fans of kane pixels take on the backrooms and its aesthetic will enjoy this short, enjoyable and haunting (walking sim) game. If this is anything to go on, then look forward to playing The Complex-Expedition.

had lots of fun. both strategic and tactical in elegantly simplistic ways. enjored the art, style, and presentation of the game overall. my only bit of constructive criticsm would be to vary and diminish the volume of the incredibly repetitive "chomping" sounds (as well as other sound clips that can become repetive depending on the evolutionary path that one chooses to take. ). Nevertheless, even if no changes were made to the sound - i look forward to purchasing this game and supporting the developers.
its fun, its addictive, and like many of the best games it's easy to learn but challenging to master.

Always been a favourite. been playing since its release. a true successor to the original postal.

enjoying this game as much as i had hoped i would (which is far more than i expected).
fantastic story, gameplay and world-building elements woven together to create a fantastic adventure. I don't hate survival games but i don't love them either...that being said, i LOVE this game.
fans of Jeff Vandermeer's Southern Reach Trilogy, the CONTROL game, and even FALLOUT will likely enjoy this breath of fresh air in the survival/exploration genre.

was it the dead space clone/"sibling" that we were all expecting? no. was it fun to play? yes.

Overall the Callisto Protocol is a good game with instances of sci-fi horror greatness (Heavily inspired by Dead Space and it's influences: The Thing, Alien, Event Horizon, etc.). The optimization was bizarre as textures would finish loading about ten minutes into a game session (i suppose t hat's better than waiting at a loading screen for ten minutes? glass half full?... anyone?). The lore and world-building were good - but could've been better. however, like the dead space franchise, it seems that the lore and world-building would've been left for the second game...had this game been successful enough to birth a franchise. unfortunately it was not. - which is a shame because i could see a lot of potential in this game. unfortunately, with the budget, time, and effort afforded into a game of this stature, "potential" is not enough to justify a sequel - let alone start a franchise.

fans of sci-horror should definitely give this game the opportunity to entertain them. i finished it and i do not regret the time spent. in fact, this was the first new game i've played since CONTROL and it has inspired me to upgrade my gaming PC and back into gaming as a more permanent hobby. in that way, i am more thank grateful for the experience. now...onto the Dead Space remake.
