The Game:
I think this is a fairly good Classic Doom style offering that does some tricks not possible in 1 & 2. (I.e Room over Room). Though it is fairly flawed. The atmosphere is what excels the best here, especially combined with the more abstract ambient ost. The level often feel larger than in the first 2 games.
Theres some pretty clever puzzles.
Though the game has some major flaws:
Some levels require alot of backtracking and can be confusing on first playthrough. The enemy roster also is pretty small compared to Doom 2 (down to N64 cardridge size). You will see alot of Barons and Hell Knights due to this.
Though alot of the returning Enemies are stronger (i.e Arachnotron, Imp). The game also has some evil ways to place them which Doom 1 & 2 sometimes failed.

The Source Port:
Theres some love put into the port. Theres alot of options to readjust controls, the game is now compatible with mouse and keyboard and achievment exist, albeit only few (not the case with 1 & 2s Unity remake).
The game being remade from ground up means it also avoids alot of slowdown it had on original hardware.
This also includes some QOL improvements like Quicksaves while the original game only had passwords, meaning you had to fully repeat a level as soon as you died.

Lost Levels:
The unity remake comes with a bonus episode of 5 maps, but they are honestly mostly pretty forgettable retreats of setpieces you already experienced, just at a larger scale. They are a bit harder than the main campaign but dont pose as much challenge as something like Thy Flesh Consumed did.

In its current state, the game is way more annoying than scary.
There is no sort of details to remember, so if you find key and exit solely rely on luck.
The game often crashes in the middle of an online game too.

The camera effects like bopping and motion blur also are too extreme and end up being nauseting. I never had an issue with this sort of thing in a videogame before.

The monster also looks pretty uninspired.

Removes alot of tedium and frustration introduced in Afterbirth+ by simply changing content

If you find it funny/unfunny, objectable/based doesnt matter.
This game is straight up unplayable.
You can't tell whats going on and you don't know what the goal even is

No matter how much you say "Its epic offensive you triggered SJW", its still a bad game

I only paid like 5 cents due to a discount and still feel like I got scammed

Pretty much old tabletop DND in videogame form I guess.
A lot of content,for a game in that everything is over after one hit

Had a black guy cover XXXTencacion with people doing ♥♥♥♥♥♥ beatboxing

Boring after a few games,♥♥♥♥ this

The first thing that happened was me getting beaten to death with a Mop by the Janitor 10/10

If the performance wouldnt be so terrible (game nearly crashes everytime I pick up a page or a area loads,I have a pc that should be able to run it on highest options without crashing/lagging),id recommend this.
If you can actually run it without lag,you will propably like it
