The game is good and fun if played on co-op. The monsters are great and detailed in their behavior, there are dozens of weapons and armors, hundreds of builds, a lot of rewards and special unlockables (skins, decorations, weapons and quests from Resident Evil, Mega Man, DMC, FF and The Witcher)... But it isn't my type of game.

Probably 50 hours are required to learn the basics of the game, up to 150-200 hours to make your first build starting to play properly.
The game is not so long as result of the content featured but because everything is RNG based slowing your progress.
Old style school mechanics don't help... The character movements are cumbersome and slow compared with the monsters. Also, IMHO, the japanese games have a serious problem about everything concern user experience, such us upgrade, cargo, crafting and settings menus. Every UX element. It is impractical and looks outdated.

Here is my experience.
I got one big problem with this game: it's required a second life to complete it and everything is about grinding monsters without a real reason.
Sorry, I can't waste other time hunting monsters or farming materials with a 0,02% - 0,52% RNG trying to get simple upgrades for the build or a "size record" in the stats.
My save is 420 hours withmore than 1000 kills but ONLY 16/118 crowns. It's not fun, it's not hard, it's just pointless...

Please, the life is unfair enough. Don't let the games become unmeritocratic too.
There was one good thing about videogame and that's why I loved them; it looks like players and Devs have been forgetting in the last 15 years, IDK why. A simple word: MERITOCRACY.
Stop making videogames where the longevity is all about ridicolous RNG and artificial difficulties.

I have been playing this game with a friend but I wouldn't suggest it. Sorry.
Otherwise, if you don't have a life, you have no interest outside becoming a try hard veteran in one single PVE game repeating the same actions again, again and again, losing yourself to study endless build screens just to deal 0,02 more damage so you can save 2,53 seconds in the next hunt, this is your game!
I don't have a life too but I can recognise when things begin to be mad and pointless. I prefer keeping my sanity playing many other games having more experiences.
