I've been playing this game for 7-8 years now.
At first I played using launcher, then started playing steam version.
I remember when developers added T-64A and M60. Now game is completely different, first of all they have nerfed every single shell. There were lots of different mechanics that have made game easier or harder. There are some utterly useless mechanics.
Shells DO NOT deal fair damage. Sometimes a shell does not penetrate when it must. A small piece of metal might destroy your 76, 90 or even 120 mm shell.
Now about maps. I don't like huge maps even at top tier, they are completely unplayable. The battle has a limit of 30 minutes. Sometimes it takes about 5 minutes to just see an enemy, is it okay? Maps tend to be darker and now it's hared to spot an enemy. Furthermore, developers have added dark clouds and some maps are now unplayable for pilots. SPAAs can see you on it's radar but you cannot do anything because clouds are not transparent at all and you just die from a random rocket.
About SPAAs. SPAA costs about 80SP, but a pilot spends 800-1200SP just to spawn a plane that will be capable of doing something to SPAAs. Basically SPAA play might just get killed and he will still be able to spawn his SPAA. A pilot have to get at least two kills, sometimes three, or capture one point and get one kill just to able to spawn a plane with some bombs or missiles. Is it fair?
About voting. Recently developers have added an ability to vote for some changes. Everything was good until the moment developers decided to just ignore the results of voting. I voted for not changing or rethinking the mechanics of APHE shell. 52% vs 48% and developers decide "to try new mechanic on dev". Remember that every time the developer say that they offer you to rethink a mechanic of a shell they make a shell unplayable and unfair.
About being humans. If developer ignored my vote once they will surely do that once again. But actually the next time that might be your vote. So don't think that developer won't ignore you. Eventually something like that might happen to you. Just be aware of that.
