oh... that's... gore of a good game...

I really like the Far Cry series, and after beating this game I truly suggest only buying it if you want to know what happens after the end of FC5. The only thing that really matters is the end, and it's not really worth all the 10~ hours you put into it. Too much grinding, and a bad story. They took what I loved about Joseph and Eden and crushed it. In FC5 it was just some mad man that thought he was a messiah, and that was amazing. It had a fantastic story and was fun to watch play out. FCND took that and stepped on it. It made a main premise of the plot magic powers you got from Joseph's tree that was 'sent from god' Taking that mad man messiah look and makes him right. Why would they do that?? They had a solid plot and Joseph could have not had some magic tree and the plot would have made more sense, and looked better. The Twins were alright villains I guess, but forgettable. They have little to no depth, and only want power. For almost all the villains in FC5 I felt bad for them in some way or another. They had depth and they cared about something. The Twins only made me care for them in Mickey's dying breath where she gives you some sad story. We get no time to really see who they are before they die and the plot forces you to the next mission. Don't even get me started on Ethan. They just reskinned the Yeti and made that the final boss? Really? Ubisoft has gotten lazy, and it shows. Overall I'd give the gameplay 5/10, story 6/10 and villain(s) 5/10.

While the game is short, it offers a great story that kept me captivated and wanting to continue. There are achievements that make you go back and explore different routes of text you could have gone with, and I enjoy that. Anyways the game is short, I got most achievements in about an hour, it's fun, I definitely recommend.

This is a truely amazing game. After putting hundreds of hours into building, mining, exploration and more, I can safely say this game can bring a good time into any discord call, or even playing on your own. 10/10, would play again.
