OBJECTION!
HOLD IT!
TAKE THAT!
Just, wow! What an absolute roller-coaster this trilogy was. It's honestly a masterpiece in my eyes. Seriously, all three games are worth playing through. So many great characters, and the stories are pretty well-told, not to mention the music is sublime. Yes, while this wasn't the genre of game I usually play, I didn't care. I had so much fun going through this entire trilogy. Highly recommend getting it.

The Pros and Cons of Tekken 7
Pros
-Gameplay is probably the best in the series
-Music is good
-Plenty of characters to choose from, whether it be a veteran or a newbie
-Looks great
-Achievements are easy to get
Cons
-Akuma fight in the Special Chapter is awfully designed (it was the only thing preventing me from getting 100% achievements)
-Lack of customization compared to 5, 6 and Tag 2
-Story Mode, while having some cool moments, is underwhelming
-Lack of offline modes (where's Scenario Battle?)
Overall, Tekken 7 is still a fun fighting game despite the gripes I have with it. Whoever designed that Akuma fight, though, should rethink their philosophy on good game design, cause that was a terribly designed fight due to the cheap nature of Akuma himself. Even then, I still like the game itself, and just managed to get 100% achievements. I'm a fan of fighting games, so this obviously tickled my fancy. If you like Tekken or fighting games in general, give this one a go. Just mind the major flaws it has.

I'll keep it short and to the point with pros and cons
Pros
+ Tons of content like Free Mode, Ambition Mode, etc.
+ New characters are pretty fun to play as
+ Total of 82 characters, so variety is aplenty
+ New mechanics like the Rage Gauge, the Rock-Paper-Scissors system, and an additional Musou attack keeps the gameplay fresh
+ Story mode is just as good as DW7's, with additional what-if scenarios and stages to boot
Cons
- An absolute grind-fest, especially if you're planning to level up all the characters to max level
- Shu has way too many characters (they take over a 1/4 of the total roster), and I hate Shu
- Getting all of the 6 star weapons is an absolute nightmare (having to get them on hard or above isn't helping)
- Stages get reused assets, which is lazy on Koei Tecmo's part
- If you're a completionist, STAY THE HELL FAR AWAY FROM THIS! To get all the achievements means you got to have tons of free time to do (I'm currently trying to do it, save my soul). Some of these achievements are so irritating (Completing all the XL stages on Ultimate, along with getting an A rank in each XL stage, and completing all the optional goals in each XL stage, just to name a few) Not to mention, most of these XL stages require you to play as the opposing side in order for the achievements to count. That is absolutely soul-crushing for any completionist out there.
Verdict
If you're a action hack and slash fan, or if you're a long time Dynasty Warriors player, this game will satisfy your needs. But if you're a completionist, stay away from this. You're better off without it.
Final Score
9/10
Additional Pro and Con
Pro
Music is great for me since rock is my favorite genre
Con
Way too many DLCs, and it becomes a problem when some of them cost over $20

Just beat this game yesterday. To be honest, it was one that I was hoping to get a chance to play someday, and thankfully I did. This is actually my first Tales game, even though I've been eyeing Xillia 1 and 2 for a while. The story is different from the traditional Tales norm, but it's definitely engaging and interesting. The characters themselves, man I love them. A cast of rogues that are vastly different from each other, but also complement each other nicely too. Their side-stories are actually pretty sad, but you wouldn't know it because of their comedic and non-chalant personalities that shine the most. The gameplay is fast-paced, and the mystic artes are some of the best in the series. The music gave me chills, especially at the end of the game during the final dungeon and boss. To sum it up, Tales of Berseria is one of the best games in the Tales franchise, and I look forward to playing more Tales games in the future. Also Velvet and Eleanor best girls. (Sorry Magilou, still like you though). P.S. Bamco please port Xillia 1 and 2 to Steam so I don't have to worry about getting a PS3 just to play them.

It's an enjoyable hack and slash game based off the Neptunia franchise, though it is extremely repetitive. I'm close to getting all the achievements in the game, though it'll be an intense and long grind. Costume break was a unique mechanic, shame it didn't return in the spiritual successor to this game. Also Noire best girl in the game.
