Infinitly replayable. Would reccomend some mods that improve the A.I. if you don't have any people to play with, but aside from that, the game is too awesome for me not to reccomend.

Great game to play from time to time. Doesn't get too boring after a while, and if you have a friend to play it with, it's lots more fun.

Personally I really like this game. It's a different take on a Dragon Ball game, and a take that I had silently hoped for but never expected to actually happen. (I wanted a horror style game where you have to escape from Cell feasting on a town, or hiding from Frieza and his army as he sieges a planet, and this is really close to that.)

Playing as the Raider every rare opportunity you get, is fun and demonstrates just how terrifying the Dragon Ball Villains actually are, when they're not busy getting punched by the Z Fighters. And the two Raiders we had in this beta were so different, but both still really fun. (I liked Frieza more than Cell, but that's just me.) And if you know how to best exploit their abilities, and when to destroy areas, you can literally be unstoppable. That doesn't mean you're invulnerable though, as a competent enough survivor team can and will defeat you if you aren't taking them seriously enough.

Meanwhile, playing as a survivor is both entertaining and tense. When you don't know what you're doing, the odds can seem almost impossible and you will most likely die from your own mistakes, or bad luck. But when you know how to properly manage your resources and play the objective as best as you can, you have the chance of not only surviving, but even defeating the Raider, whether it be through stalling them long enough for the super time machine to finish, or just outright killing the Raider yourself.

While the game's visual quality is on the level of a mobile game, the gameplay more than makes up for it with it's ability to keep you playing, even when you're technically doing the same thing over and over. (Avoid Raider at the start, loot the area you spawned in, play the objective, escape if you can't.) It also helps that since the survivors and Raiders are all people and not bots, the chances of having the same match happen are close to none, and there are hundreds of ways that these games can go, from dragon ball collecting and fighting a full power Raider as a team, to a power key placing speedrun where the Raider isn't even level 2 yet and you're almost done powering up the super time machine.

There are a bunch of people who say that this game is not a good Dragon Ball game, and sure, it's not the normal kind of Dragon Ball game, but it's not trying to be. It's not just another game where you play through the story of DBZ, unlock the characters, and then have them beat each other up to your hearts content. It wasn't designed to be a fighting game with the same characters (Maybe a newcomer or two.), with different graphics and button layouts for how you fight. (Xenoverse, Raging Blast, Budokai, Kakarot, Ultimate Tenkai, Burst Limit, Legends, Fighterz, Battle of Z.) Don't get me wrong, most of those game are great, but you can't deny that playing a Dragon Ball game where you're just character A fighting character B will be repetitive, no matter what game it is in or how good the new game looks. (We've all seen Goku fight Frieza on Namek, and Gohan fighting Cell, enough at this point.)

I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves Dragon Ball in general, and would like a break from the very repetitive fighting game genre that Dragon Ball has had throughout the years.

Repetitivly fun, and large enough to last about a week for one playthrough.
