I don't remember much from when I was a little kid. On top of that, a lot of what I remember is very vague and I wouldn't be able to describe them that well.

This game though... I don't know how, but its special. It was probably nearly a decade since I last played this game, and yet, when revisiting it, there's so many things I could remember in vivid detail before they happened. Like for example, the very first cutscene where Hatty Hattington and his crew embark on an epic journey, but all that ends up happening is their boat vigorously shaking and being turned upside down like a salt shaker.

What I'm trying to say is, this game holds an immeasurable amount of nostalgia for me. Playing this game again gave me the same amount of enjoyment as it did when I was a little kid. The funny prisoner faces, pushing my friends to their death... hell, I'm more than twice as old as I was when I first played this and more than half of these cutscenes still made me laugh. This game just has a certain charm to it that I can't describe.

Thank you Behemoth for making games that hold so many key memories for many people, including me.

What the ♥♥♥♥ is the Veil?!?!?!
Lightfall has no story. It tries to have one, but it forgets to tell you ANYTHING about what is going on. It's like if I gave you a book that had all of the first 75% of the pages ripped out and told you to read it anyways.

Horrid.

This is the most emotional I've ever gotten from playing a video game. You aren't told much about your backstory or what is really going on in the beginning of the game, but as you continue to play and help more and more spirits, everything is tied together, leading to what I think is an amazing ending.

The only problem that I had with this game was how repetitive some of the tasks got. This game took me over a day in playtime to complete, and because of that, a lot of the simple tasks in the game such as gathering resources got very stale.
