Can recommend the game
I have a couple thousand hours and have been 1st in my server or globally for most my playtime
haven't ever felt the need to spend irl $ in the game
theres a massive skill gap between new players and old players, theres a system to prevent them from matching together but if you come from another FPS game and can rack up kills against more mid-lvl players quickly you can find yourself against some of the higher tier people very early on into your experience, so I'd recommend if you're new don't collect dogtags from kills for a couple weeks.
you will run into some mobile players, no need to feel bad though they are able to toggle off running into pc players so if you see any, they did opt into it.
gear is oversaturated so youll find a lot of people use the higher tier gear most the time but don't worry, put the time in and learn the maps and you'll get there pretty quickly.
it is possible to start the game, unlock all the top tier gear, and earn enough cash to consistantly run it in your first 24h without spending irl $, tho while no one really does that unless they an alt the point is don't get discouraged if you die a lot starting out, you'll learn it and get better
most importantly if you're having issues really getting by keep in mind, this game is not tarkov, the best strategy is honestly just to full send sprint even though its a tactical shooter game, its very dangerous to do so but once you learn how to do it right you become a harder to hit (faster moving) target and much more deadly in most fights, so... don't expect to become some top tier player if you play slow and tactical
there are hackers, mostly on the chinese and EU servers, if your internet can support it I highly recommend playing the NA server its pretty clean
