on one hand basically the entire game before the mountaintops is great! On the other hand bosses like valiant gargoyles, godskin duo, fire giant, and copy and paste dungeon bosses are more pathetic than any other game in this series, but on the other other hand the game ends with two of the best bosses in the series, AND ON THE OTHER OTHER OTHER HAND!!!! Malenia exists. I haven't felt this mixed about a souls game since ds1.

(dlc edit: on one hand basically the entire game up to Mesmer is fantastic. on the other hand areas like the dragon mountain, finger ruins, and frenzy forest are clearly pretty underutilized, and on the other other hand basically every boss except the last two and Gaius are fun, BUT ON THE OTHER OTHER OTHER HAND! Radahn exists. I've never felt this conflicted about a souls dlc before, and it makes me sad...)

I don't understand why this game gets so much hate from the community. Yeah dash jumping is clunky and it's a good thing they removed it in later games. Here's the thing though dash jumping is never required to beat the game, and if you've ever played a fighting game you've probably done stuff far more complicated than it before. If you let something so simple keep you from playing this game you're missing out on an amazing soundtrack, a pretty good story, some great bosses, definitely better than some of the ones in Oath in Felgana which are almost luck based (mainly Gyalva, Istersiva, and Gildias), and a great setting.

Let me start by saying tf2 is one of my favorite fps games. There's so much depth to the mechanics in this game with just about every class, and it's all fun to learn. Most fps games don't even try to have these mechanics or they make them pretty much automated to a single button press. That being said all of this is going to waist because of valve. they gave up on the game years ago, and haven't done a damn thing for it since. This has lead to insta-kill sniper bots let through by valve's worthless anti-cheat roaming around most of the casual severs to the point that they outnumber and kick any real players, and regardless of that a decent bit of the player base is just trading bots that exist only to try to make real world profit off of the in game market. One more problem and by far the biggest is that the people behind the sniper bots are criminals who try to slander, dox, swat, and ddos anyone who calls them the trash that they are on the internet. No I'm not joking #Fix tf2

imagine if sword art online had all the awful ♥♥♥♥ taken out of it, was a game, had witty characters that actively make fun of the game they are in, and an amazing story. Dodge 3x

they could've made devil may cry the fighting game.

This is simply one of the best 3d platformers I've ever played. A lot of the time when games add speed metals I usually think it's just dumb padding, but this game is one of the few exception for me because the stages are actually built with time skips, and shortcuts in mind so I can honestly say going for all of them is actually fun. the game also has fall damage that doesn't detract from the experience at all, in fact if you know what you're doing you can skip entire sections by pacing the fall damage meter through dashes and jumps. In conclusion the soundtrack slaps firm recommend

great game, they should remake the other games in the series next. People should be allowed to play Saga without having to pay a fortune

this game was mid. The original is better this one tries to have a bigger focus on story, but falls flat on its face 90% through. these games also have absolutely no replay value once you beat the game which is a negative if you ask me
