This game is hands down the best shooter to be released in a long time, The devs actually listen to the community and understand that the pricing for games is getting out of hand. They also got sony to bend a knee and and admit some defeat.
There is no pay to win and even though it'll take hours to do you can earn the premium currency by playing the game.

The first game from respawn that I played was titanfall and despite it bad "story" it was enough to hook me onto the titanfall universe and titanfall 2 hammered that in, which why I'm sad to see the way apex has gone. Its fan base is split into 3, those who care about comp, those that care about pub, and those who just want to play the game the way it is. The developers say they care about our feedback and yet I've seen them push out more bundles and events than updates that the fans actually want like private servers that they said we going to get multiple years in a row, multiple new game modes that was going to stay in the game and not be a part of an event to keep drawing in players that just want to play those game modes and nothing else. To me the only reason why this game is still alive is because there are still people out there that do not realize that by buying the bundles and the event skins you are basically telling respawn it's okay for them to let their game to be turned in a cash cow and not into a game that is fun for everyone like they originally planed. Due to the way apex has gone I will not be buying any game that respawn makes. If you are looking for a development team that actually plays their own game go try some of coffee stain's work (I personally recommend deep rock but that's just me)
