TL-DR

pros:
+ game-play : 10/10 [ amazing gun-play and movement ]
+ destructible environment ( choose a building, you can blow it up, or make holes in it)
+ fun [ random moments when people role play in crazy situations - when a building collapses on everyone - or you drag someone to heal them behind cover ]
+ graphics [ not realistic but really good looking ]
+ space : 2 GB [ yes, only 2 GB, 100 times smaller then other games and 100 times more fun ]
+ Easy on PC resources - can enter a game in less then a minute ( in 30s i run the game and enter a match - nice for when you don't have a lot of time )

cons :
- There are some really small bugs, but what i can say i encountered and could be noticeable :sound of bullets flying by when there is nobody near you ( Those sounds could be accurate, i know there was some issue before the early access with the sound, but they are less common now - or almost gone but I am not sure yet ).
- body sometimes can be seen through building / clipping through - but again not died because of that yet but its there.



I have been playing this game for many hours, during play-tests, and it was just really good. I would like to start of saying that I like realistic games, nice graphics and so on, but the quality of the gun-play in this game makes it so fun and addicting. Even though the graphics have less polygons, the art style of the game is just eye candy.

This game is really fun even when playing alone, there are these moments even in play-tests where were these amazing battles 100 vs 100 players ( or 200 ) where we were barely holding a building, reviving each other, people randomly role-playing and screaming while the building collapses on them, it was just so fun.

I 100% recommend this game!

+ Pretty fun and engaging game-play

+ the optimization is not bad for a new release ( i played the tutorial on epic and it was fine, but i had to switch to medium in multiplayer because of the lag created by other players using abilities) - i have 1050 ti with an old i5 and 8 ram
+ Not pay to win
+ 3 game-modes and maps
+ very good start for a free to play game
+ Its a dog fighting game but you are not stuck following each other in circles like other games.
+ lightweight and can be played for fun in short matches

- the only bugs i saw and also other people reporting on those are random disconnects. But played for 6 hrs and only got it
twice.
- I tried picking up the controller. i play with inverted controls, but the setting to invert them also invert the looking up/down, which i would prefer to remain the same and there is no way that i found to have the desired setting(this is more a personal preference - they said they would add more settings like advanced graphics).

Suggestions: What I would change about this game, is the fact that the drakes you get / buy from store ( as eggs ) are only a customization. a skin to say. I would love for the different species to have something that makes them different from others. Similar to heroes in Dota 2 or maybe add a leveling system so the more you play one drake, it increases their stats. I know this can raise a lot of problems like it might introduce pay to win(or balancing for the latter), but i believe if its done right it can create goals for players to collect dragons or level them up (or devs if you are reading this incentive to buy xD ).

Easily one of the best single player games of all time, in my opinion.

I normally don't play single player games and when i do, i rarely get to finish them before i get bored. I'm at my second run through, my first was a few years ago, and this time i changed the background story of my character. For this reason, main parts in the story were changed or they didn't happen the way i remembered them, especially because of the fact that choices matter.

This game got everything: gorgeous environment and decent graphics. Also runs smoothly on lower spec graphic cards. The story is amazing, but more amazing is the fact that there are a bunch of engaging wonderful side quests that just make everything as a whole an amazing experience. The game-play is really rewarding especially because with progression you get to enhance the range of your abilities. You will also see the benefits of improving your combat skills: knowing when to dodge, when to parry, how to get behind enemies to deal more damage, what creature is weak to x, y ,z and so on...

I recommend this game to anyone that likes single player open world, great storytelling and smooth game-play!

I've been playing this game since it's early days and i found it really fun and enjoyed a lot of time with my friends playing in squads up to 5 people. The fps is good, nothing really fancy, but decent for a free 2 play game. What i found great at H&G is the way they merged infantry with tanks and planes. i have a german infarntry-man with a kar98 that took me a while to upgrade to 1 shot most of the enemy infantry.Also, i have a fighter pilot. Both of those roles i played intensively but my favourite is the pilot.

After spending some hours crashing into trees(but i still do it sometimes..) i found myself really enjoying the flight mechanics and the power you have with those destruction machines... .I have tried flying in bf1, bf4, and other games but H&G is the most enjoyable PVP aerial combat game i played. Also you can blow infantry players up too :D

I have to mention though that since recent updates i didn't find a way to play with my friends as infantry and i as a pilot.
There used to be a system that would let you choose what roles your squadmates can have using certain points... but now its gone and whenever i want to play pilot and them infantry is impossible. i hope they will bring this feature back.

The devs are adding new events once in a while and they keep improving the war system.

To sum everything up, H&G is a great free 2 play game that i always go back to and i recommend this game to anyone who would like some ww2 action!

I played this game while it was free in a weekend and i have to say, it was a very interesting experience. It is something different, this is not just a competitive first person shooter or an RPG game, it was both. I'm looking forward to getting this game in the near future and I keep in touch with the new updates.

The PVE is great, and have to say, quite scary, you need to try to stay quiet while around birds or other creatures that can give away your position. There are certain monsters that you most likely want to avoid fighting like the new immolator, unless you have a blunt weapon (have learned that the hard way). The community is in general really friendly, i have met a guy in-game that i later joined on discord and he helped me out and thought me some tips and tricks to help me get better at the game. One down-side i see is the fact that this is a new thing, and don't expect many players to enjoy the slow paced PvP (if you don't want to die quick). Personally i really enjoy it.

Overall i think this game is unique and a break from competitive fps and battle royales, having elements from both of those genres. It does a really great job immersing the player into the world of monster hunters and the fact that the game is hardcore in the sens that if you die once, you lose your hunter and the gear, makes the player think twice before they make a certain move. This in my opinion is a great feature that increases the horror factor. I think you should definitely give this game a try.
