I will die happy knowing I will never play this game again. The ending cut scene was the most painful thing I've ever experienced in gaming.

Wasn't expecting much and was blown away. Super well done

Amazing concept. Super fun to play. I wish there were more because it'd be up there with Mortuary Assistant as one of the best indie horror games all time.

Only recommending if you're a DBD fan. The easter eggs are great as well as the added lore to the universe.

The Good:
-Graphics
-Sound design
-Characters
-Overall Story


The Bad:
-Dialogue: It could've been way worse
-Exploration: Seemed meaningless. So many random hallways that may or may not lead to an easter egg, only for you to have to completely turn back instead of looping around

And now for the big one: Gameplay

As someone who loves The Quarry and Until Dawn, this game doesn't even come close to having the impactful decision making and moments that those games have. Critical moments in the story had decisions made in a cut scene by a NPC as opposed to letting the player choose. It felt like nothing I did had an impact on the story. I was even begging for quick time events at certain points just to have some proof that there was more than one outcome in a characters story.

This could have been so much better. Lot of good here. I did enjoy my playthrough, but I won't be doing multiple like I did with The Quarry because there's no point.

Most of this review is under the assumption that you have played this type of game before, and enjoy it.

Graphics: 10/10 - Blew me away, atmosphere was amazing and the characters look real.

Sound stage/soundtrack: 10/10

Story: 9/10. - I was intrigued the entire way through. I was fully invested in every characters path.

Characters: 9/10 - the voice acting and facial animation were amazing. There were cheezy lines, but that's part of the aura of these games. I genuinely liked the characters and the dynamic between them.

Gameplay: 9/10 - These types of games have minimal gameplay that isn't for everyone. What is there is well done. The quick time events and don't breathe moments don't feel like a burden and are actually exciting and add tension to critical moments.

I had low expectations, but I enjoyed this more than all of the Dark Pictures games. I got this game for $11 on ♥♥♥ but would say it's even worth it all full price.

Already planning another play through cause everyone pretty much died in my first one.
