Mafia Definitive edition is a Wonderful remake. I never played the original before but once I did in this remake, I can see why people enjoyed this game back in 2002 and remade it for a wider range of audiences, I can see why people love this franchise so much. Coming from someone who played the demo of Mafia 2 on the xbox 360 and PS3 and played mafia 3 on the PS4 (Since it was free for plus members at the time) I was interested in this remake and It was worth it.

The Story- The story is, you play as Tommy Angelo (Main Protagonist) he was just ordinary taxi driver and until one day a group of two people was on a mission from the boss of a mafia group to escape from the cops and gang members and ever since that day happened he was offered a chance for a better life but with a cost. The storytelling here is fantastic but there were some instances were some parts in the story you would say "I saw that coming" kind of moment. but everything else was fantastic and the ending just made me feel the big sad. Not to mention the story is also tells what happened back in the 1930's or really close of similarities from that era.

Graphics- The game looks beautiful and certain moments breathtaking, I played this game at 1440p at max settings and what Hanger 13 (The Developers) did for this remake, they took alot of care with the game and made sure why people fell in love with the original in the first place. It looks and runs great and the Cutscenes just truly jaw dropping but I do wanna warn people who will have VSync setting off to have a unlock framerate, I experienced constant tearing when driving around the city, in cutscenes and etc. I don't know if this is going to be fixed in a patch but I Highly recommend turning Vsync on so this wont ruin the immersion of the world of Mafia.

Combat: The combat can be a hit or a miss. The Shooting in this game is really good, you need to make sure you hit all your shots, not to mention the guns itself look authentic just because it was how Mafia groups use those types of weapons back in the 1930's. The combat with your fists and gun is really satisfying and there are different executions within the fists and the gun melee that can look brutal. The one thing I didn't like were the stealth aspects of the game. There were times where I do really good in stealth but they will still get you caught in the animation of the stealth knock outs and that would sometimes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my chances to not get caught and the AI can also be a hit or a miss. They can hit their shots in one moment or they would just be really dumb and easy free kill.

The world- The world in Mafia Definitive edition is breath taking and very beautiful, the world around you is nicely detail to the brim but if I have to say one thing that still hasn't really changed from Mafia 3 and 2 is the driving. The Driving can be mediocre alot of the times. Especially it gets more apparent when you are in the endgame chapters and escaping can be your worst nightmare. Now I do understand this was the time where cars were getting much better to drive in that era and still things were new but for me this will be a downside considering it can get heated in moments where you are like "Work with me d a m n it".

The Soundtrack: The sound track in Mafia Is very well made and beautiful. It can bring you in the world of the 1930's and makes you feel like a Mafia gang member.

Verdict: Mafia Definitive edition is a very well made remake for the newer generation of gamers. Story, graphics and the world is great but the combat and the driving can be something more better. The 40$ Price tag its asking is very much worth it or like I did I bought the trilogy. If you want something thats not Grand Theft Auto and wanna go back in the time of the Mafia I highly suggest picking up this game it will be worth your while and it can be one of the best remakes from a open world game like Mafia we will ever get.

Metal Gear Rising Revengance made me fell in love with Platinum Games work. I have over a ♥♥♥♥ ton of hours on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Metal Gear Rising. As for a Metal Gear Fan who played all of them only on the PlayStation consoles I feel like the story was good could be better but atleast its not as bad on side games on a huge franchise. Its funny, awesome and can have you on the edge on your seat. Some clishes there and there but I can look pass them and not a big of a issue at all. The gameplay is excellent its punishing but rewarding at the same time. This game makes you feel like Raiden and you must be on your toes to face your foes. It starts you off easy but It will be tough later in the game as long you parry really good and know your combos and finish them off in style you will be really good at the game. If you got what it takes play "Revengance" difficulty it will put your true skills to the test. The graphics in MGR in 2020 still hold up today, granted I wish there were more options for resolutions for the game's graphics settings but settling in 1080p output still makes the game look great. Finally the soundtrack, This game soundtrack is amazing hands down one of the best soundtracks in gaming for me that is I know everyone has their opinions but still. overall if you want to binge Platinums work I would highly recommend or if some one who wants a hack and slash game to play after playing Devil may cry series this will be worth your while. Highly Recommend using a Xbox one / Xbox 360 controller because as much I tried keyboard and mouse on MGR I cant get my parry's on time for some reason.
