The Seven Deadly Sins

First sin is love, intense desire,
A passion, everlasting fire,
You want money, power, fame?
First you play the Lusts cruel game.

Second leads right to waste
As you eat and feast and taste
You'll get fat, you'll die young
Gluttony's victim you've been stung.

Third is want, you need it now
Go great lengths to find out how
On this journey you're bound to bleed
Once you discover this sin of Greed.

Fourth is lazy, idle, slow
You'll become the worst of all
You do nothing, and you don't care
The sin of Sloth becomes your air

Fifth leads to hatred, anger, pain
In this life you'll die in vain
If you go and choose this path
You'll get to taste this sin of Wrath

Sixth is mix of first and third
You'll see and want like a flying bird
You will get an insatiable desire
And Envy will make you start the fire

Seventh may be last, but not the least
You'll become a self-centred beast
Even if you tried, you cannot hide
This last sin is called the Pride
