Really outside-of-the-box and unique game. Worth a try (especially how cheap it is on sale) if you like Bullet Hell games. You don't have to type 200WPM to play this game. It's much more about learning how to type the way the game wants you to, intermittently and often one-handed. The typing part is more like learning a unique set of controls, then rewarding you for being a great typist. It can definitely be hard, and it takes practice, but it's got great design, visuals, and high-energy music to keep you going.

Fun and Charming game. It really does feel exactly like the 16-Bit Adventure Games of the 90s, in both a good way and a bad way. It's very simple, with 98% of your time spent with platforming and action combat, and minimal story and modern innovations. It felt a little boring at first, but the music, smooth game play, and beautiful environments won me over after an hour.

Very charming Multiplayer party game. The pun-monsters are adorable. There is a lot of variety in the minigames, which makes it hard for one player to win everything. I really liked that the board-game part. It never felt unbalanced, didn't feel too random, and didn't have too much snowballing.

Definitely nice to see these types of games being produced, especially ones more on the less expensive/more indy side of gaming.

Particularly good for newcomers to the strategy/card RPG genre. I had a blast playing this game. Expect a simple and fun experience.

Compared to what you might expect from a generic strategy/card RPG:
-The battle pacing is pretty quick. After you input your orders, it plays out fast automatically, instead of clicking through menus.
-Dice mechanics work well, but also feel mostly unnecessary. Battlefield positioning and raw stats and levels seem to have a much larger impact.
-Card/deck customization is simple and strategic. Great balance of choices and customization, without spending lots of time in menus.
-The story is ok. Charming and enjoyable, and paced well, but really simple.
-The game feels a little short. Which is fair, since it's an under-$20 RPG. I'm just used to a more robust experience from my RPG's.

I would especially recommend this game to newcomers in Card/Strategy RPG genre. While it's good enough for veterans to enjoy, it's simplicity makes it very accessible to people interested in trying a strategy RPG for the first time. Strategy RPG's are notorious for being incredible deep and involved, and this is much more light and would appeal to many more people than your typical Strategy RPG.

There aren't many new strategy or card RPG's made now-a-days. Any company that releases a brand new IP in the genre gets my praise. Thanks!

Any fan of deeply psychological plots should give this game a shot.

WARNING: This game deserves the Psychological Horror tag. It also deserves all the support and hype that it gets. It's a hidden gem in the psychological anime/games field, and if you can explore the difficult topics that the game presents, it could be one of your favorites.

I recommend watching someone stream the game in its entirety. My experience was great. I couldn't pull myself away from the story, I never got bored or distracted becasue of chat and the streamer, and I got to really see how the story impacted others first hand.

It uses the advantages of the Visual Novel universe to immerse you character development, and gives you a sense of attachment to the characters. It then uses that attachment to throw you into a psychological horror situation, giving you the strongest sense of empathy for the difficult psychological situations that the game presents. It's a brilliant combination.
