This is subject to change, but DO NOT buy this game.. YET.
There is no reason this game should be $45 ($55 CAD!!) with the amount of story content it has, which is only about 10 hours. They need to add more story missions to justify the price point. The game is fun, and it added a lot of great furniture, though house flipper 1 mods did that easily.
In my opinion the cleaning is more fun than 1, but the painting is worse. The game also causes me horrible motion sickness, which isnt something I get a lot, or had gotten in HF1.. but thats just a me thing I guess.
They need to add more story modes WITHOUT locking them behind a DLC that we have to pay for. A lot of the positive reviews here are blinded by nostalgia for HF1, which imo is still the better game, easily. We're paying 50 effing bucks for a shorter game, which is whack honestly.

Wait for a sale if you really wanna play this crapola, HF2 is a shell of its predecessor, and if youre going to buy one of the two, just get the first one with all DLC.

i love fishing. i love lovecraftian horror. this game was MADE for me. 1000/10, game of the year, easily.

This game is bad. It will make your closest friends, people who you've put your trust in, turn against you and stab you in the back with a rusty blade, and twist to make it hurt. Dont trust a friend that asks you to play this game, cause that type of person, is not a friend

Dont waste your money on this game until the devs get some braincells and shell out for an anit-cheat. The game is fun, but theres no point in playing since nearly every game is ruined by cheaters.

And the devs lies about how hackers are banned right after the game, is nothing but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, thats why theyre all running around with full crown outfits. Garbage.

Also theres a monkey outfit (gross) and no got damn frog one? GARBAGE

This is the only game on steam that matters.

Games HOW old? and still looks like that? Update my a**. Controlls are wack too, why tf do I need to move my mouse to look up and down like that?

Pros:
-Story is great, and leaves just enough to your own imagination that makes it amazing.
-Its not the creepiest game out there, but its certainly no happy go fun land.
-I really really liked the art style for this game. I think anything different wouldnt feel quite right.
-OST is f*cking fantastic!!

Cons:
-Controlls can be a little bit wonky sometimes, but its not unbearable.
-Yea right Im gonna get that 1hour run achievement lmaoooo
