IMPERATOR? 10/10 would conquer Gaul again.

You, yeah you. You like technology? You like to make stone hitting primitives use metal and stop smacking flint in a hut? You like domestication of wolves, pigs and goats? Do you appreciate a nice wooden wall? Well this game is for you. I find it incredibly fun and if you've ever played games like settlers or banished then you should pick this bad boy when its on sale like I did. I love watching my people go from hunter gatherers with no metal to copper using stone circle making farmers with domesticated animals next to them. Its fun and really satisfying to watch play out.

I have little to say in the way of game play critisism its simple and easy to understand but slowly builds on more complicated ideas. First its just food and basic resources like clothes and tools. Then you need to chop trees, mine flint and build defenses for the raiders. Simple, fun and hard to perfectly master. I won't say I've played hundreds of hours, I can't. But I see myself doing so.

I have some problems though.

I wish there was more to do with external peoples instead of trade with them and just have them hit their heads on my walls. I wish I could conquer them, or become allies or even form a kingdom. That would be awesome. I can't say that I'm some god with a computer. I do though wish such mechanics existed. Its early days and I may have jumped the gun but oh well. I would also love some more animal based stuff like dogs helping out hunt as well as defend along with the ability to make horsemen and designated warriors (Mainly because I want to do the ride of the Rohirrim on some raiders but we all have dreams)
All in all I find this game really good but with some add on's it could be a truly great game.
