The movie begins with Patchy the Pirate telling the prologue of the story to the audience. After he tells us how the Powerpuff Girls were formed, he tells us that an invasion called the Kingpin invasion was spreading. He sets off to let the viewers watch the movie. Having acquired the Mind Stones, Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) and his lieutenants—Ebony Maw, Prowler, Kludd, and Creek—intercept Echo Creek carrying the last two survivors of Echo Creek's destruction. As they extract the other Mind Stones, Kingpin subdues Star Butterfly, overpowers Marco Diaz, and kills Janna. Kingpin also kills Kelly in order to acquire the Mind Stones. Marco tells Star to run so she can find some other place to live. Star kept running, but gets choked on the neck by Kingpin, who slices her right arm off, and drops her off the cliff. Blisstina Utonium found her unconscious body, and took her to the Powerpuff Girls. Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup hear the news about the Kingpin invasion.
