A helicopter flew around above Seattle when an electrical fault suddenly struck out all navigation and communication systems. Because the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position and course to get to the airport.
The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it, circled around. He made a handwritten note and held it in the helicopter window. On it was written: "Where am I?" In uppercase.

People inside the building quickly responded to the pilot, drew a large sign, and held it out toward the pilot. At that read: "YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER"

The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, price to fly to "Seatec airport" and landed safely.

After they landed wondered copilot on how the sign "YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER" had helped him find his way to the airport.

The pilot responded, "I figured it had to be the Microsoft building because they gave me a technically correct but completely useless answer".
