Hey, Garfield Kart gamers! It's me, Jon Arbuckle. I need your help, to beat Nermal and win the Pizza Cup. Now to help me out, all I need is your parent's credit card numbers, the three digits on the back, and the expiration month and year. Now, please, hurry . . . so that I can take home the W and win the game!

Early Access Review
Pros:
-No greater emphasis on teamwork between the crew and eachother, crew and captain, and captain and captain
-Attention to detail, from each pirates'/sailors' different personalities to the supplies on ships
-Environment is submersive, background music can play at the perfect moments and weather can set mood
-Looks great, has a style of looking realistic but also looking cartoonish (in a good way, promotes humor)
-Lots of jobs for the crew to fulfill, manning cannons, repairing holes and sails, pumping water, taking range of enemy ships, etc
-Intense cannon gamplay, especially when your ship and the enemy ship are trading cannon fire and you have to repair your ship while maintaning fire
-Insane close range fighting, the grappling mechanic in this game is amazing: the captain orders a grapple to be loaded into a cannon and when in range, the grapple is fired onto an enemy ship and they two ships are locked together, creating a hell show of smallarms fire and swords
-Moderately optimized (some more input from other players would be appreciated)
-Wide variety of ships and vessels create range of different strategies and playstyles, rule in the menacing galleon or sail circles around your enemy in the agile gunboat
-Able to choose from a selection of unique weapons and utilities
-Great community with lots of experienced players willing to help new players
-Has a fair voting system that elects and mutinies captains, kicks players, and chooses gamemodes
-No premium DLC
-Level and prestige system exists only for costhmetic items, no need to grind for anything but outfits

Cons:
-Load times for slower computers can get a little long
-Playing at the right times of day is necessary as the playerbase is not very large and only a few servers run with a lot of players
-Melee can get a little wonky
-Movement can get a little awkward
-Only three gamemodes exist (but quality > quantity)
-Players are occasionally toxic towards each other
-Has a bit of a learning curve (its not a problem with the help of other players)
-Price is a tad high for the content it has

Additional notes:
-A microphone is heavily recommended
-Is a casual game but leaving in the middle of a match does let your crew down

Is it worth the money?
-Wait for a sale, not enough content for the game to be worth $20 (don't let this sway you about the quality of the game)

Rating:
4.5/5

(added insight would be greatly appreciated!)
