Amazing for Ray Tracing enthusiasts like me, terrible for purists.
ReStir + Denoising is king, almost no wobbly noise, though depends on the resolution though.
For example, on 1080p, anything below 'Balanced' DLSS is a bit blurry and wobbly, for higher settings it looks cinematic with almost no errors (choose how much quality you want to destory for FPS :/).

The texture upgrades are great, but I have noticed some Texture Streaming issues though.

Complaints:
The portal shader is a complete downgrade, it looks overexposed and lacks detail compared to the original.
The disintegrating is broken, instead of fading to black, objects abruptly disappear after a few seconds when destroyed.
The map lighting is different, for better or for worse. I prefer the older one which looked brighter and had that Blue tint compared to the uniform, almost gray one we have in this version.

This comment was written while this was/is in a Beta state.

I see a lot of potential here.

I'll probably point out a lot of things that may be obvious,
and this is a WIP demo after all, so take this review with a grain of salt.

The character models look like something out of Half Life 2 (they look too low quality compared the custom models and environment), but otherwise this game looks gorgeous.
(Harsh comment:) The animations on the fists and the axe aren't that great.
Also in my opinion, the axe should have a delay before the it actually hits, at least that's how most games function anyways, it's what most of us are used to.
At the start of the game, I was too confused and I didn't know where to go. It needs to be slightly more obvious, I had to watch a walkthrough to get to my car in the first place.

(This may also be because it's WIP, but) There are optimization issues around the areas with a lot of objects, I know that I'm not running on the best computer in the world, but my specs are above the recommended limit.

(Also a quick nitpick, at the end of the demo, before the elevator, one of the glass windows are misplaced.)

Despite being a zombie game from 2009, I still enjoy it and admire it's details.

It is fun, only the textures are low, everything else stood the time pretty well.

The new unofficial officially released update is great, although there are some bugs. Which they are fixing constantly which I am happy about. The survival versus being an option on the title menu is a great update.

It is a great game, been playing since 2015, too bad valve does not care about it. They should release a last heavy update or something, maybe that could be profitable. But otherwise, tf2 is probably not gonna bring money to keep it up and running.

Goodbye TF2, and goodbye, Rick May.
