Well I did write a full paragraph review of this game, but Steam decided to not let me post it and deleted what I wrote so i'm making this short.

Wasted looks like a fun game at first but it gets boring and easy very fast. All the levels are the same with no variety in their generation and it gets infurriatingly boring. Dying is an extremely huge punishment as you have to grind your loadout back and also get new buffs by completing entire bunkers all over again. There's no variety in enemies. Quests are next to non-existent and the ones that do exists are all fetch quests. There is nothing special to this game.

Fallout New Vegas was a big undertaking for me, but I enjoyed it all the way through. A long thought provoking and entertaining trip across the Mojave Wasteland.

Fallout New Vegas is an open world 1st person shooter with a story to tell and sides to either join and help or fight against and gain their dissaproval and eventually hatred. Your travels across the Mojave will cross with a number of diffrent factions.

But let's talk about gameplay. At the start you get to distribute points to your special stats that influence your regular skills, like strength makes it easier to wield melee weapons, or Intelligence to make your starting repair and science skills higher. As someone who dosen't really like first person shooter, I loved this game. The combat was confusing a bit at first, but it's really simple and fun once you play a bit. Aiming isn't too hard and there's even a special targeting system calle VATS if you have trouble aiming.

Behind it all there's a story unfolding, you'll travel the mojave looking for the person who buried you in a grave, help (or don't help) towns and even the New California Republic, looking to establish order in the Mojave, or Legion who wants to take the Mojave for itself. Decide the fate of the Mojave and New Vegas with who you align with.

I never once got too bored even during the dull moments of gameplay. I was scavenging whatever I could find, killing enemies, and almost always doing a quest. Fallout New Vegas was a very good experience for me, even though I typically don't enjoy first person shooters.

While the summer sale is still going on, I'm gonna review all 3 Hairbrained Schemes Shadowrun games. I'm gonna say right off the bat, these are my favorite games ever, I extremely reccomend them. I'd say even full price is a steal for these. But, let's get on to this specific game.

Shadowrun Hong Kong is the 3rd out of the 3 Hairbrained Shadowrun games. You don't need to have played any previous games or even know anything about Shadowrun to play this, especially with this being the only game that has a story where you don't start out as a Shadowrunner.

In this game, you travel to Hong Kong (No ♥♥♥♥) to find and help your foster father Raymond (after you abandoned your family to travel to another continent) after dozens of years since you left. But to help him, you're gonna need to become a Shadowrunner.

This game features Character creation in a bit of a diffrent light. There's a couple of minor changes, but it's mostly the same as the first 2. You can make any character you want, LIke idk even know anymore...uuuhhh......A computer hacking Orc, or how about uuuh.....you can be a Human nothing! (Yes, i'm serious. "Nothing" is an actual class you can choose.) Whatever you wanna be, you can probably make it to the end. Let your imagination flow, and create your ideal criminal.

This world is a combination of Cyberpunk, Dystopian, and Fantasy. And it's alot cooler than it sounds, trust me. What is not cool about a robot Dwarf shooting magical fireballs? Anyway, I love the atmosphere. There's kind of a lil bit of all the 3 things I just mentioned for everyone. Either take your pick or gourge on the whole buffet (I suggest the later)

Combat is vastly changed and improved in this game. I believe all 3 Shadowrun games have one unique thing to them, and for Hong Kong it's the combat system. Same as the other two games, you fight on a grid and you can use your enviorment to take cover and fire at your enemys. Each team gets a turn and some AP (Action Points) on each character. Once all your characters have used their AP, it's the enemy turn and vice versa. What's diffrent this time around is you can ambush your enemys, and automatically gain the first turn + a crit if your first shot connects. There's also a high variety of Cyberware this time around, that you can instal on your character in exchange for essence (AKA: Magic Power). What's that, you want an arm that can automatically reload any gun you have? You're just in luck, we have them in stock. Wait, you also want a cyber whip that you can use to attack your enemies and make them bleed? Well let me check YES WE HAVE THEM!

The biggest change however is the Matrix. In past games you were usually entered into turn-based battles similar to those on the overworld. This time, you have to go through a maze that has sentrys on a set path around it. get past them without drawing too much alert and you're good. Gain too much attention and you get entered into a pretty hard combat session. Also, instead of just clicking on a node and passing a deck skill check, you have to solve a hacker puzzle (it's pretty easy though). Personally I like the changes to the Matrix.

So all in all, Highly reccomended. I'll state once again that this is my favorite games series of all time, and it charmed me so much that i'm starting to get into reading some of the shadowrun books. If anything I said in this review piqued your interest, get it.

While the summer sale is still going on, I'm gonna review all 3 Hairbrained Schemes Shadowrun games. I'm gonna say right off the bat, these are my favorite games ever, I extremely reccomend them. I'd say even full price is a steal for these. But, let's get on to this specific game.

Shadowrun Dragonfall is the 2nd in the 3 Hairbrained Scheme games, but you don't need to know anything about the first game of even the series atall in order to jump in. This game improved vastely upon Returns, giving a better feel for what being a Shadowrunner is like, and the story in general is polished more throughly.

You start out already in an established group of Shadowrunners this time around, and not long after you become the leader. This means you get to interact with your crew, keep the local slum "safe", and take on whatever jobs you want. This game gives freedom to pick what kind of jobs you want to take, who to take with you, and what your priorities are in the end.

Your crew in this game may be a rag-tag bunch of technically criminals, but each one of them has a book full of interactive dialouge when you're at base. You can learn how they became a Shadowrunner, and maybe help then settle a score with someone. Either way, there's a lot of people with a lot of dialouge to interact with in between jobs.

The Combat is the one thing that stays mostly the same from Returns, but it does have a much cleaner UI. In combat your teams take turns using AP (Actions Points) to move, shoot, or use items/spells on a grid-like arena with places to take cover behind depending on your combat enviorment. On normal you won't have much of a challenge, but if you want to be, crank it past hard into very hard and you'll get taxed a bit.

Character Creation is pretty much completely unchanged from Returns. You can pretty make any build you want and it can be viable for the whole game. How about a giant troll that controls tiny lil robots? Maybe an Elf cyberwarrior? Go all in.

Now, I believe all 3 Shadowrun games have one unique thing to them. For Dragonfall, it's the atmosphere. You really feel like a full fledged Shadowrunner. You slowly manage to win over and control your team, gear them up, keep your base safe, have a fixer, and kill anyone who messes with you personally.

So all in all, Highly reccomended. I'll state once again that this is my favorite games series of all time, and it charmed me so much that i'm starting to get into reading some of the shadowrun books. If anything I said in this review piqued your interest, get it.

Shadowrun Returns is the first in the 3 Hairbrained games, and it honestly shows. The campaign in this is probably the shortest and easiest, which does make it easy to start with. The story however isn't slacking off, it gets kickin hard pretty early with your best friend dead and needing to find his murderer for a huge money reward.

You might feel overwhelemed when creating your character at first, but just know that every class and race combination has potential. Feel free to be a giant troll that only uses spells, or an extremely charasmatic dwarf that can summon spirits. Anything can work, but of course some things will work better than others. Take a few minutes to study the races and classes, and you'll get the hang of it.

Personally, I love the atmosphere. It perfectly combines a Cyberpunk Dystopian world, and also fantasy races and magic. The world dosen't feel out of place, and instead all these aspects naturally mix together with eachother for a charming yet hardcore world.

Combat is also a very shining point. It's a turn-based RPG with a grid like board with obstacles such as cover. You have a certain number of Action Points you can use each turn. This isn't like some games where you can only move and attack, or just attack. You can do any combination of moves as long as you have enough Action Points. Your entire team takes a turn, then the enemy team takes one, then back and forth until one side dies.

Now, I believe all 3 Shadowrun games have one unique thing to them. For Shadowrun Returns, it's the modding community. Once you're done with the main campaign, there's a very large number of mods to play if you still need to tickle the nerve for more of this game's atmosphere, or if you really like the combat and want to get challenged. The other 2 games don't have nearly as many mods as this one.

So all in all, Highly reccomended. I'll state once again that this is my favorite games series of all time, and it charmed me so much that i'm starting to get into reading some of the shadowrun books. If anything I said in this review piqued your interest, get it.

While the sale is going on, I guess i'll do a review of one of the very obscure games i've played that I really liked.

I should warn you however, I don't think this game is worth $20. $15 maybe, but 20 is asking a bit much. Still, I love it and if you want to pay full price feel free to do so, but it'd wait until a sale.

Anyway, This is a visual novel about a sanctuary in the north, with a magic dome that protects it from the extrodinary cold at this time of year. It just so happens however, that something start going wrong with it. Play as 2 characters, an islander named Galen who was brought to act as doctor to the very few citizens who stay behind. Then there's Yani, an architect that has been sent to make sure the dome stays functioning.

I haven't played this in awhile, but I can tell you that the background art is very immersive, infact more arrtwork was probably done for this visual novel than any other i've played, and most games i've played in general.

And the MUSIC. Ah, so peaceful yet it dosen't distract you. When it needs to change to accompany a bad event though, it can rile you up.

I haven't talked about how good the story is yet and.....it's okay. Not the best story ever, I don't know if it'll resonate with you quite well. It's charming but that dosen't save it from lack of character depth and such. The lore of the world however is kinda impressive.

So all in all, it's good. If you're looking for the most fantastic story ever, you're gonna be a bit let down, but it's still very pretty and somber. Again, I wouldn't reccomend it at full price, but for what it's going for as the time of writing this review ($6) it's a very fair deal. If there was a neutral option I would use it here, but if i'm gonna lean one way I'll lean positive.

This game is particullarly special I feel as far as visual novels go. Aviary Attorney is a game where you play as defense lawyer JayJay Falcon during the 1840s of France. You might compare this game to Phoenix Wright, but I think it's very diffrent. For one, the cases are all very diffrent from eachother. They stun and immerse you, and your heart will sink as you figure out the dark secrets of the case. What's more is that you can lose a case, but continue playing with the consiquences of it.

The art style is probably the most noticable and impressive. Let me assure you that your eyes will never dull while looking upon the enviorment, as it is all extremely detailed and even slightly animated. I guarentee the enviorment they have made will be imprinted in your mind, whether it be from the beauty of it all, or the dread that it forbodes.

And don't even get me started on the music. I've never been that interested in soundtracks of games, but this soundtrack conveys so much emotion. From the whimsy of it's comidical events, to the serious tone of the court. To the extremely upbeat and powerful tune that accompenies certain characters, to the shock and horror of uncovering a dark secret. This game holds a soundtrack that I could never forget as it greatly enchanced the experience.

The one problem I would say with this game is, for the amount of content, no matter how highly polished it is, might be a touch too much in terms of cost. I've gotten 2/3 ending in the game after about 9 hours. But for the pure experience that this gives out, I think it might just be worth it. This game will leave you with a powerful experience. It isn't particularly hard, but dam is it immersive.

I've been thinking about this game recently, and with the holiday seasons comming up I thought it might be nice to make a review. And my opinion of this game atm is, don't buy it.

This game is an improvement to the first in ways, yes. But the developers behind this neglected fixing game-breaking bugs (one amongst them being it wouldn't launch atall) for weeks. To add to that, it even took them 1 year to add an exit option in the main menu.......

Yes, you heard me correctly, you couldn't exit out of the game unless you played it in windowed mode, or Alt deleted to close it every time.

The game also so lovingly only runs at 30FPS. Now you might think of me as a big crybaby for complaning about such a simple thing, but come on man, this is 2017. ALSO, people have looked into it and believe that the game forces 30FPS on you no matter what, and not only that, people have said that this forced 30FPS has forceibly made the game run slower and worse.

This game is an insult to the fans of the first, and for that reason I encourage you to not buy it. If you want more information you can easily look it up on the steam forums for this game. I will try to replay this sometime before the holidays and might change my review if it's good enough to play just as a game. But I will be keeping everything i've said in this review even if I do update it. If you REALLY wanna play this game, well i've done my job in warning you of the scum treatment this game got, whether you decide to listen or not I can't force.

You would be hard pressed to find a game that has more love put into it than this. Renowned Explorers is a Rogue-Like placed in the 19 century where you explore distant lands to explore and gather treasures from. Not only does it manage to be a fantastic Rogue-Like, but it also has great character personalitys and humor within it.

You will start out wondering what to do and how everything works, but it won't ward you off with anything that's too hard to gain a grasp of. No matter your skill level, everyone can enjoy this game in equal measure. You'll gain a sense of pride as you see your end-game score getting higher and higher as you continue to improve, learn, and make your own strategies.

As I said earlier, the characters within the game are the delicious side to this savory steak. All character have unique personalitys (including backstorys on the title screen) that you will grow fond. No 2 characters are alike here in this wacky but lovable group of Renowned Explorers. They are even given unique voices and animations for their attacks that just adds even more likeability. Even the side-characters and areas you explore are easy to adore.

This is one of the greatest games of all time in my opinion, and to top it all off, the community is incredibly welcoming and kind. If you are atall interested in this game, I implore you to take a chance on it and fall in love with the craft and detail of it all.

First game in years to make me legitimatly ball my eyes out. The feels in this game are off the charts. If you don't cry once you're a stone cold monster that shouldn't even be playing these games or having any online presence in the first place.
