Quite fun. Well polished graphics, soundtrack and game experience. Repetitive after a little while, rather expensive for what it is - especially with all the DLC's - but still worthwhile to play. Can recommend.

I've always thought Jackbox put a little too much effort into its cosmetics instead of the games themselves, but perhaps that's just me. If you're looking for games to play maybe once or twice with your fellow party-goers, you've come to the right place.

Fibbage 3 is great - funny way to get to know people, great ice breaker.
Monster Seeking Monster - whoever made the song should get a medal. It's playing in my head right now, as I write this review.
Survive the Internet - fun party game. Becomes old around the second round.

Bracketeering, for me, is a little uninteresting - there's not a great deal of room for witty jokes, and the first time someone wins with a taboo word that doesn't relate to the prompt whatsoever is the start of the death of the game. (Happens in about 2-3 minutes, depending on the nature of the party you're attending.)
Civic Doodle is not the best party drawing game out there - there are plenty of better, free alternatives on the web.

Personally, I think I would rather just talk to my friends - but if you need ice broken and you have a spare ~$40, the Jackbox Party Pack 4 is an option that exists.

I like Superhot, but was not enamoured with it. The novelty of bang bang slow time sort of wears off after a while, and there isn't a great deal of story or variation in gameplay after you get the hang of the initial time-slow thing. It sort of just gradually gets more mechanically tricky.

Would recommend, but I couldn't see myself nor anyone playing more than about ten hours worth. Just becomes very same-same after a while.

Playing Portal is an absolute must for all denizens of Steam. It's a terrific game that makes you laugh, think and, if you were really looking forward to that cake, even cry. If you haven't played Portal, but you're thinking ~$15.00 is too much, just wait around for a sale - Portal & Portal 2 are frequently ~90% off. (I think I bought Portal 2 for $2.00, which felt like I was robbing Valve.)

Great soundtrack, fun puzzles, iconic voice acting, and a well earned cult-like following of musicians, artists and animators. Portal is a triumph. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

Gosh, I did enjoy Subnautica. If you're considering playing it, please - do yourself a favour and don't use the wiki or any other external guides. Planet 4546B is so much more magical if you dive in and explore it yourself. Pun intended.

If you're as obsessed with management games as I am, I can recommend giving Prison Architect a shot. It's a bit of fun, though perhaps these days you might not want to pay full price for it - especially since Paradox took over and started doing DLCs. Still a fun way to burn a few hours.

Great game. Still in early access, so there are a handful of things that aren't as polished as you would expect from a full release. (The odd bug, nothing major.) Genuinely scary at times. Really fun with friends. Can recommend.

Chaos incarnate! Garry is a madman. Don't eat the cake. Lots of wiggle room to do what you like. Personal favourite is prop hunt. Garry's Mod brings back good memories. Can recommend!

I adore The Long Dark. There's something calming about wandering through those frosty landscapes, admiring the amount of thought that's been put into every tree and patch of grass. The wolves and bears are definitely more welcome foes than the everyday woes of existing.

Amazing soundtrack. Immersive experience. Difficulty levels for all players, from peaceful to hard to better-not-stand-still-for-more-than-four-seconds. Awesome story. Nice graphics. Can become a touch tedious after a long while playing - but that's every game. If you enjoy survival games, open world games, or are just misanthropic, the Long Dark is worth your time.

Stardew Valley deserves a spot in your library. Relaxing gameplay, an extensive, detailed world to explore, and delightful characters that will make you smile.

(Except Mayor Lewis, who is both an embezzler and a fascist.)
