Absolutely calming game. No fuss. Jump and explore type of game. Tranquil music. Nice, short and well done game.

Refreshing. No little Anime sprites and cookie cutter RPG Maker type of game. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy those type of games. However, Atonement was such a welcome break from the typical RPG Maker market of games. Good boss battles that actually makes the gamer think of using some of those skills you gained while leveling up.

Atonement has a good story line that is told through the eyes of two different characters (each has their own campagin with different quests and unique bosses). A gamer can tell that Atonement was made with true heart and care. The developer should be very proud of this game.

Achievements don't work and the developers don't give a turd!

This game is beyond bland. It has no flavor, no depth, and no heart. You can tell that this game was put together quickly with no thought. This is the worst RPG Maker I have played thus far (the world is incredibly small with no effort in making it interesting). The game is not even a complete game (it ends with a "to be continued"). This game is not even worth a dollar. Hey, at least the Achievements work.

Short but Sweet! I have played quite a few RPG Makers and I have to say that this game is whole heartedly unique in terms of gameplay and atmosphere. The feeling of Silent Hill and Resident Evil does come to mind when you commence the game and the uneasy feeling of what can be lurking around the corner is prominent throughout the game. The negative is that it has only taken me less then three hours to complete the game; there should have been many more types of enemies; a few gun options would have elevated the experience; and more characters to interact with may have added to the story.
Notwithstanding the aforementioned, the game was solid and delievered the intentions that the creator set out for. I truly hope the creator of the game ops to deliver another horror/survival game.

Boring! I enjoy point and click games and I really wanted to enjoy this game; however, it was just so bad. The story is a bore. The writing is not funny at all. I was speeding through the dialogue just to get this game over with. The laugh track in the background (going off way to much) is annoying. Personally, I give this a 3 out of 10. I give the creators points for the attempt and points for the music; however, the game is stale.

Such a fun and cooky point and click game! I read some of the comments and was worried with gamers saying it wasn't starting and achievements were not unlocking... however, it went smoothly for me. You have wonderfully cheezy voice acting and puzzles that are not terribly difficult. This is a fun four hour romp and well worth the price of admission.

Note: I would start the game on the Advance difficulty, the game does not penalize you (in other words... achievements are not missed) for clicking away if you are somewhat lost.

With so many RPG Maker games available on Steam this game was enjoyable to play. Well thought out and intriguing main character. This is a pretty linear game; however, the pace of the game is just right. There is a section of the game that I found to be tedious (the desert and snow section) as you can easily walk on and on looking for your way to advance the story; however, that is merely a small gripe.

The game took me less then twenty (20) hours to complete and I am looking forward to playing Layronia RPG2.

This purchase was a happy accident. For some reason I thought this game was an RPG prior to purchasing it. This is what all "visual novel" games should play as. It has a smooth cartoony art style and the game immeditely engages you. Your decisions have a direct result in the outcome of the game. This game asks you the question... if you were a part of a deal that involves your soul, what would you desire.

The game has multiple endings related to particular achievements. I played through the game three (3) times in order to garner all of the achievements (total time taken is less then four hours). The game is entertaining, smart and different. Remember... this game tells a story from beginning to end where you answer/question/respond and act throughout the game. Thumbs Up.

Absent is a page out of the old point and click gems like Monkey Island. The visuals are rancid; however, the voice acting saves this game. Using your mouse to click on an object and it not registering because the "hitbox" is so tiny is absolutely annoying, but this only happens on a few occassions. Steam Achievement Hunters should not pass this up given that it is very easy to complete. This is a game that should be supported and played by gamers.
