This is in my opinion the best from software game. It seems to have met the perfect balance in the speed of its gameplay, its required skill, and its setting something that always kept me away from souls like games.

This game is only difficult if you do not learn it. After the tutorial you are given an option to make the game harder by taking chip damage unless you correctly time your deflect. If a new player does not start by taking this option they will inevitability get stuck and the game will feel horrible, this game lives and dies by the perfect parry and you will too. Learn the game at the start, or suffer the consequences not too far down the line.

I give this a 9/10 only because some will like this game play loop and some will not, either way what it does it does exceptionally well.

GREAT GAME


i started playing the game as soon as it came out. It had a great story line and was very interesting. It took me about a week to finish it, playing on and off. It has great survival mechanics. and no spoilers or anything but it had an excellent ending!
