So I decided to give ELYON a chance despite the bad reviews and by god I think this MMORPG is great. I don't know where to start, there are so many ways to do things from PvE to PvP to Daily Quests, Housing etc.

A couple of things that excited me in advance are/is the blunt afk farming. You can leave your char afk in your house and let him farm gold, exp and items, great feature for people who might not have that much time to grind either. In addition, there is the huge skill tree that makes each character unique. From changing skills, to runes with bonus stats, to stones you can put in your equipment. Fighting against other players makes it that much more exciting because everyone is a bit unpredictable.

Many write here that this game is pay to win. I have to say that I haven't seen much of it until now except for the normal skin pattern in the shop where cosmetics are available like in every game these days. I've now put almost 50 hours of play into it and no money and I'm making great progress. Thanks to the daily login and the daily quests, it is possible for me to increase my equipment, of course it takes a while but honestly what did you expect from a free to play title? Of course, this is designed to keep the player playing for a long time, but playing for a long time is worth it and is also rewarded accordingly, how is a free 2 play supposed to be alive without constantly having players. There are MMORPGs with full-price titles that have this system...
Another point that many write is that the items can fail when upgrading, yes this is unfortunately true but as far as I have read this system will be revised and changed with the new patch. There is also a marketplace where you can otherwise buy equipment at a good gold price. the daily quests you do get you good gold, plus the main story also provides you with gold. It's hard to get in at first, and I felt the same way, but after watching a few YouTube videos here and there, I now know what to do.

I hope that with the new class update a few new players will come and maybe with this revivew too. It's true that this game doesn't attract a large number of players. It hurts a bit too but the developers are working and listening to the community and I hope it won't be over after a few years/months. A lot is still in planning and this is just the beginning of a wonderful journey.

And for the people who say the combat system is outdated and the controls are bad. Git Gud.

And for the people who think the game is just a flop since everyone says it's pay 2 win, this game just went under because it came out in the same frame of New World and Lost Ark. Marketing wasn't the strong point here.

I've been looking in vain for a good MMORPG, since I left ESO, which I enjoy just as much, and I think I've finally found it. I hope it will last a long time, because I'm actually a PvP player, but here PvP depends on the time. Hope that changes soon.

(This revivew was actually planned to be even bigger, but it's only my first big review. I wanted to go into the weekly and daily portals as well as clan portals, but I think most of them haven't read this far anyway.)
