For my final exam I need to write an essay about Brexit. Can you support me with a book about Brexit?

This would be in fact so damaging for Russia itsself, that there was a risk of becoming a minor state for the world economics and actually getting bankrupt, since there would be a major competetor on Oil market with the face of European state straight on the border: Sauth Caucassian Confederation. If west gets Oil from the abovementioned Confederation, Russia will never be able to use Gas/Oil as a weapon of political influence on the west, ever again.
Communist leaders knew that very well. So they started diversifying South-Caucasian states while these were under Soviet control, gifting the regions from one to another. (as: Karabag region, settled by Armenians, was gifted to Azerbaijan under the name of Karabag autonomus republic. Autonomic Republic status was given to Georgian region of Abkhazia as well).

As for Caucasus, region which is relatively smaller and with one look easier to control, things were different. It was well-known that Georgia has experience of uniting whole Caucasus under its flag (10-12th century. All though to forget the past - 1918: South Caucassian Confederation).
After the break of the soviet union, if Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan would unite in the same confederation once again, they'd already be a player on international arena and not a toy, since they'd have
1. Important geographical location
2. Oil
3. Strong conventional forces and up to date factories with competent workforce
