After thinking more,yes. It isn't really cheating but if you want to make a vanilla+ playthrough I don't think you should use it. If you're playing modded and there are many accessories than it's ok I think.

wings slot isn't really cheating as much as it is just a QOL thing.
if you could put literally any accessory in the wing slot then yeah that would be cheating, but since it's only wings that you can put in the slot i don't think it's that bad
